I know Mauger did it in 66 scored 21 and Henny Kroeze did it in 77? has anyone else done it? can remember Thomsen ( on a oversized engine scoring heavily 19/20?? points Michanek scoring 20??? beaten by Ashby when riding for the heathens.

Rosco ok i have disagreed with him on occasions but i have total faith in him ie) his main asset is that he loves Swindon and the Swindon public recognize that just like Middlo loves Poole.Adams he is a LEGEND been great over a long period and people forget he has a great record when helping individual riders all those three named as Managers are all top class.Adams for me is there with the likes of Oliver Belle Vue ( he died to young and would of brought more success to the Aces.

Louis was he similar to Doncaster as he started late think Jeremy was 25/27 ish ???? and a grasstrack star in Bewley Aces you have a real talent.Just shows you Parkinson Blackburn who has had a hard season beat Bewley from the back in the Colts v Brummies meeting people should not right him off a fine prospect i believe.

Swindon Vs Kings Lynn 21 August 2017
Sidney the robin replied to Steve0's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think this meeting will be closer than people think the reserves are the key for me and it just shows how we really will miss Zak.Huckenbeck and Jorgensen can be hard chargers and who knows with Jonasson a rider really hard to judge i recon the Budgies to win by 12 points or more i really want Lambert to show us that he can be a in/out Lynn no 1. -
Honestly next year if the track is sorted with J.Holder,Kurtz,Woryna,Shanes( get him to double up weekend commitments sorted) the future looks very good three spots left with plenty of scope to build a team. Poole will be fine Middleditch for me is a bonus and that job will be his for as long as he wants it. I dont agree with you that much but this is a great post fair play Woryna will be a massive asset.

Cant agree with that his record speaks for itself to be honest, ok he has his critics on here but i have said before this forum means nothing. The speedway people i know have total respect for him i certainly have met him once in the eighties a really nice bloke a proper speedway person he has very good man management skills ok he has made mistakes in the press (ect) but who hasn't.

I would of course agree with that i did see Nathan at Swindon for a year and overall he did well now he is a diffferent rider really has improved i hope he keeps improving. Great post but you ent got a CLUE mate as usual, bitter and twisted but we will see eh!!! This post shows me that you have no idea, what you are on about you dont go anymore now how do you know ????.All those riders mentioned have you seen them ride i dont think so some will fail but some will prosper and do well we will see eh!!

I think Hagonshocker has it spot on really, and yes dont forget Wozniak i have always liked him hope he is seen again on our tracks.Woryna for me can come in and hit the ground running and i think he can average seven plus i have a feeling he could be a real force around a PREPARED Wimborne Rd.

I believe in the next five years will will have some really good Brtish riders coming through and all at the very least will make Championship riders i very much hope so anyway.Jenkins,Bickley,Bowtell,Brennan,Atkins,JPB,Wood,Rowe,Thomas, as examples all have a great chance to progress. And with the likes of Bewley Zak ( Hume/Phillips both bloody unlucky improved no end) Mountain,,Bailey we have quite a nice crop there am i to Enthusiastic??? what are your opinions.

Agree totally if the likes of Smektala, Kubera, venture over here to get experience that has to be good for us the spectator.I know Britain is way down the pecking order now but those riders named will improve as riders certainly if they have to master our more technical tracks.Musielak is a great example at Wolves he struggled did well away but that experienced gained certainly has made him improve as a rider.

A great signing for the club and with his grandad Antoni being a really popular rider for the club it was always on the cards that Kasper would ride for the Pirates. When i saw him last year he really impressed me and he certainly has gone up two notches this year in his performances. His consistency is his problem crashes (ect) but he can iron that out Drabik is the next Pole to hit the bigtime a Future GP rider but Woryna is a very good rider in his own right. The Pirates with Holder,Kurtz,Shanes,Woryna have a good youthful look about them the future looks good.

Time To Scrap Doubling Up?

I think you are way off the mark Matt changing race night's for alot of clubs will never happen loads of issues to resolve to get that to be achieved. My personal preference is to have a regular 1 to 7 and you have that side all year barring injury no changes at all then you will see the skill in team building. -
On my Birthday as well Joe Heat 2. Carter,Prime,Leeks,Taylor god time goes so fast it is frightening.

Was Kenny Carter in the race when the young Chris Prime was killed.??

One thing i have learned is some of the younger generation think 17 quid is to much to pay so don't go where someone like myself am quite willing to pay.You would of thought that would of been the other way around with the oldies having the stigma of all being tight buggers. -

Swindon in the 70s had some pretty average teams but alot of those riders were real racers and trier's the fans loved them Hitch and Keen of the lesser lights were my favourites both had long service ( Hitchey come and go not his fault). I loved the teams who had loyal servants riders like Haley,Smith,Wilson(2) Wilko, Cartwright, Wyer,Paulson,PC,Mort, Lewis, Louis, Keen, Ashby, Kilby, (ect) loads more we could name speedway then was a great team sport. -

When i first started going getting used to seeing a regular 1-7 was brilliant you got to know your teams riders and ended up with a affinity with them.Even if someone was out injured (ect) a no 8 who could be a future regular team member came in the second half helped along in that happening. The rules and averages in speedway now are madness all i want now is to enjoy the racing and have a decent night out Winning is not the be all and end all for me. -
Jake Allen injured as well looks like it will be a select team for Somerset.
