  1. The other night Zach/Davey got 7 between them compared to 10 between Bewley/Etheridge Zach i believe can be a powerful reserve at home i would be happy with the minimum 8/ 10 points between them most weeks.
  2. The UK has missed out on MAYBE seeing some of the stars comeback to our shores with the rule that they brought in.Thats ok if everybody abides by the rule but that has not happened here, your club Steve made a huge decision losing Freddie also having little chance of bringing Tai/Piotr in also.Swindon had to let the World Champion go ( Money maybe??) Belle Vue could not consider bringing Zagar back in either. Iversen at King's Lynn also after a year out and is not in the GPS he has to come in on a 9 surely the other clubs object to this? If it is aloud to happen Poole definitely will be bringing the sport into disrepute they certainly know morally it is wrong but my theory on sport on winning/losing if you cheat you really only cheat yourself and it tarnishes your phoney achievement.
  3. Fair play to your club for that, Lidsey and in a couple of years time Jedd List will be pushing on with there careers in Europe.
  4. Being a Australian U21 champion is that not anough to get a visa now? what is the criteria is it what you do in your National Championships that matters !! . Jordan Stewart aged 24 got one or does he have English heritage a shame really as Lidsey will be a great signing for somebody.
  5. Is there any chance of Poole creating a team fairly? everybody else does why was Pawlicki's average not lowered ? every year Poole pull a trick.
  6. If Poole get away with this stunt well what's the point??? fair play totally gone out of the window.Vaculik was ninth in the series but he gets a eight unreal to be honest but nothing surprises you with Poole.
  7. What a load of old tosh as usual, well happy with the performance from the Robins also for the Aces Bewley/Tungate had bike problems.Zach has just comeback from a serious back injury these meetings are there to blow away the cobwebs and get ready for the league programme.
  8. When you are ruthless and treat people badly you have to get it right Ford made some terrible mistakes last year. Where as Lemon at Belle Vue made a tough decision on Sedgeman but got it right with Tungate.
  9. The worst thing was Steve, Ford shafted Kyle badly but made some terrible decisions i.e.) Lahti,Kennett, Zengota,Starke,Kerr none of those riders really improved the clubs fortunes.
  10. Will he ever ride for Poole again ?? doubtful he was treated shabbily last year.
  11. On page 372 Poolebolton mentioned 100 k and Dudek but you are Poolebolton aren't you.!!!!!
  12. Can't wait for late October because nearly all of your predictions are wrong ( i.e. 100,000 put a side for Dudek quite laughable really.
  13. Newman even with an injury free run i could never of ever envisaged him being a 7.50 ( third heat leader at some clubs) .Saying that who would of ever thought Doyle would of been a World Champion.!!!
  14. You are right no way he would be anywhere near 7.50 a good honest rider but he has never been a in/out PL no 1 stroke high averaged no 2.He has not even reached a British Final he has been unlucky with injuries and for me there should always be places for the likes of Kyle who knows he might still improve.
  15. From what i can see from left to right is that Broady,Kilby,Roper,Nevitt??? Levai and the great Dent Oliver.
  16. No disrespect to Kyle but he has never had the potential Jack has, at times in Poland he showed how good a rider he can become.
  17. I really rate Jack Holder as a rider and i think he can be a great signing for Somerset last year was a learning curve for him and i believe he can kick on now and average over 7 this year.
  18. Worrall i like a lot see him at Swindon for a year he has made huge strides at home he needs to be better away he is really, decent.Actually think at home he can improve and away he is really adaptable to any track a great team rider.
  19. I fancy a ten point or more home win for the Aces, the sides look closely matched but the Aces have a big advantage at reserve. For Swindon i believe Zach and Adam can improve and i actually think Nick can add more consistency to his performances. For the home side Fricke /Bewley/Tungate can all improve and i believe Etheridge will chip in as well with points i hope it is a entertaining meeting i can't wait for the return match on Thursday.
  20. Big year for Fricke i think he is capable of averaging well over 9 at home hopefully taking that confidence to away tracks.
  21. No exactly the opposite for me, in my lifetime Hyde Rd, the Abbey, The Shay, Owlerton, Exeter ( county ground ) in my eyes were the biggest and fastest tracks around if you only rode there once or twice a year only it was not easy (i.e. Set ups etc) .
  22. Riding Hyde Rd usually once a year in one league fixture was very hard Lee usually did that if he turned up !!!!!!☺️Not like now usually 2 fixtures at least at the same track away from home going back to Hyde Rd Lee was up against Collins/Mort a bit different to now.
  23. I respect your view but as a example Nielsen / Lee were both never that great at the old Bellle Vue Hyde Rd but ( they could ride it well but PC and Mort would usually beat them at there best horses for courses comes to mind.?!!!!
  24. I don't think he has to Holder he has won a World title no one can ever take that away from him also Rickardsson ( i was never a fan) he is not really any guide to anybody because he was that good.!!!
  25. I have just finished reading the Thommo book and what a enjoyable read it was to.I recommend the book to anyone once you pick it up you don't want to put it down.
