  1. I did not know that Ray to be honest one of the problems we have in speedway are clubs not owning the stadiums.I don't if i am right on this and if Poole are the same as Swindon i think Swindon get none of the parking money / drinks food revenue and maybe even the programmes maybe ER or Grachan would know if that is correct.??
  2. Just saying the Swindon promotion have as much control as Ford has at Poole that's all no need to be so so prickly.!!!
  3. A great result for the Stars last night great to see young Lambert get the lot i think tonight it will be a lot closer than most of us think. It should be a home win Lewis Rose had a nasty off at the weekend and a few knocks last night so it will be interesting if they book a guest for him be nice if the Robins can build a bit of momentum after last night's great result.
  4. A great win for the Robins but one thing i will say is don't write this Poole team off yet can Ford get a reaction.Look the side has a exciting look about it and i will judge them more when Chris is back so you Poole fans don't be to dispirited.
  5. I am more worried about scoring anough points in our first 1/5 the Dog !! If that is not right the reserves won't matter anyway.
  6. Tell us who you are !! but you won't you are in your own little world can't you share it.??? enjoy god very sad indeed.
  7. No bites we just want the truth be real don't LIE pretty simple even for you.
  8. Fair play to Rosco his record with riders over the years is very good well more than good. I like Adam never been so convinced of him as Rosco but liked him at Ipswich/Lakeside also has done very well for the Robins a few unlucky crashes along the way has hampered him a bit. He now can kick on also I want him to be a big player in the Championship he is well capable of being in the top 20 riders of that league and that is being negative he could even be higher than that.
  9. I would luv it to Wolfie and i was a massive fan of Keegan fan his football his teams played was great( ok underachieved ) tonight has to be a home win orrible but we will do the Pirates at home.
  10. Are you that naive the sport as a whole has to prosper to make progress it is not all about one club your club or mine Poole need clubs to race against your philosophy is as long as Poole do well everything is rosy no it is not your club needs teams to race against and year by year that gets more difficult for most clubs.
  11. But do you go ??.. if you have nothing to hide tell us are you mates with a SS or whoever any Poole fan convince me.!,
  12. Totally wrong how many average foreigners have Poole employed over the years quite a few.You need to look LONGTERM Belle Vue have proved it can be done have faith in the Brits your side on the other hand only employed Brits if they fitted in with the averages Starke, Newman, Howarth,Ellis all treated shabbily.
  13. I dont believe this side without Josh G is as strong a Sheffield team as last year a close home win here with the result depending on the reserves.
  14. Sigalos was a real class act and was good anough to be World Champ a great style really fast Cook improved no end from being a four pointer into a world class rider.Looking back to Siggy IF Siggy, Penhall, Gundersen,Lee,Nielsen,Sanders,Carter, had stayed around what a era that would of been.
  15. 1968/ 75 i would say those eight seasons were his peak years Ivan was a absolute superstar his level and consistency was amazing .But we often forget how good a team man Ivan was was brilliant after Belle Vue with his Exeter and Hull teams and was very unlucky with Hull when they nearly won the league. 1972 ( with the greatest side ever Belle Vue ) and his Exeter career was my favourite period as a rider remember him in his classy white leathers he looked twenty years ahead of his time a real ICON of our sport.
  16. At the weekend that is the sharpest i have seen Chris look for quite a while early days yet but to think he will get back to the 2012 version is a big ask i hope he does a real talent at his best.
  17. My take on him being in front of King/Lambert was more on his overall profile continued improvement and how he competed in the WTC where some of the others were found wanting.
  18. All of us have great memories of Ivan which is wonderful my biggest memory of Ivan was him turning up in a lovely van with his bikes spotless the complete package. We all know it did not start like that in his career he had to go home regroup and comeback stronger and so he did i am honoured to have seen Ivan ride at his peak. And there won't be another like him certainly he was a one off he was confident and certainly opinionated but was so humble and down to earth great with the fans. The GPS now he would of loved them been in his element, and he would probably have won more than six titles.
  19. The Greatest and this is coming from a Briggo fan what a rider took the sport to another level a gent as well RIP Ivan.
  20. How do you know how much Worrall will improve ? are you that thick not to realise he has come up through from being in the third tier to where he is today.Certainly he is in the top three British riders possibly the best rider in the Championship and going by this year before his injury he had improved again. In one post you had King ( ok he won a British title a great achievement) Lambert in front of Worrall at this precise time he is in front of those two riders.Worrall before his injury had upped his game and he was not riding like a 6.6 rider.
  21. I know you are a tool of the highest order to even suggest Belle Vue would not miss Worrall at Poole and other places says it all.I maintain on the forum you are pretty limited and you now are now in a position where other away fans know that enjoy your season.
