  1. But you have never quite grasped the fact that most people only expected James as a two pointer to score his average. If the rest of the team had been doing there jobs James would not even of been mentioned.Last year as the year went on James got better the simple fact is James was made the scapegoat but plenty have over the years.Loyalty patience it does work at Swindon we have Adam,David,Zach all riders that Rossiter believes in and they can be part of the future for years to come.
  2. He is entitled to his opinion and most of it is true, last night was a glorious chance missed but all in all it was an encouraging performance by the Pirates.Woryna all of us know what a talent he is so to have him at reserve is a real plus also i did not realise how good Woryna was from the back he is a strong charger. But it makes no difference if Starke 1) MS 1 and Josh underperform and bringing in Klindt i just don't get that one you need battlers at the moment to get you out of your predicament.Leicester tomorrow has to be commanding win a confidence booster to set you up for a final push.
  3. The thing is Ghosty Shanes has been made the scapegoat at Swindon we expect Smith to score 1/2/points.This Poole team has underachieved badly and James wore the brunt of this Klindt/ Starke both who have been bang average in the Championship really?.Now knowing how Woryna still won't come in at reserve how are those two in over Auty? he will at least battle his cause race to the last god Klindt a gating tart if i ever saw one. Ford has lost the plot lose badly today and god forbid if Leicester win on Wednesday season over.
  4. People do know but have anough respect not to say anything on the forum now do us all a favour f... o
  5. Total rubbish and loads of people on the forum know but say nothing !!!!! you are a gobby s. . who keeps pushing look at me I know something?? you are a total P... end of.
  6. Why is Chapman not held accountable??.. he did not turn up this year should be his last the sport is in worst shape now than before he took over.
  7. I think Poole just need to regroup take stock but the problems are nothing terminal speedway in this Country has to change maybe Matt Ford knows the days of the big stars have gone.Maybe our Country needs to reinvent its speedway maybe one big league might work ???? personally i think it will never happen? but create teams with a lower level of rider.I don't take great delight in Poole struggling because Poole have such a following the revenue when meeting them is so vital also my team Swindon are not unbeatable i don't think they will win the league.I just hope the clubs can work together more maybe i am wrong but some of the crowds are worrying something has to change.
  8. Total nonsense i would never write Poole off you take the rough with the smooth then winning is even sweeter.
  9. I did hear Kemp was very special the other week on the Island we can just hope Drew and Leon are part of a bright future fingers crossed eh!
  10. I remember Hume did beat Bewley in heat 1 in 2016 since then injury has held him back.
  11. I think with a clear run Hume should be number 1 come the end of the season his away form doing that for him.Flint i have been told by a source who i respect bigtime said he has excellent aquipment and has a fair bit of experience on the continent.I have followed his progress over the last few years and the main thing that comes across is what a polite and friendly lad he is having that and a good temprement is a massive plus. Was looking at the fixtures i will go to Belle Vue on the 22nd with a bit of luck an awesome track and to see Danyon, Leon, Jack around there should be terrific.
  12. Does anyone no if young Leon Flint is top of the averages at the first set of averages does he have to go to no 1? I can remember Tom Brennan doing it at Eastbourne is that rule still in place? the same will happen to young Kemp at Mildenhall. For me it is very important that both of those prospects are protected and aloud to progress slowly with no pressure.
  13. That is what Rosco is good at he backs his judgement on a rider and installs confidence in them.Adam and Zach are two prime examples Adam really has come on well and he will keep impoving the same with Zach he had a nasty injury last year so it has took him time but i see him getting his average above 4 by the end of the season.Another thing that has never been mentioned Rosco naming young Anders Rowe at number 8 ok he wont get many opportunities but how good was that for Anders being there at the pressday gaining experience and being shown that he is part of a longterm plan. Rosco was a young Sprocket at one time he had to work hard to come through the system and was given a chance so he understands the ins/ outs of the sport. Swindon as a club are going in the right direction i just hope the crowds hold up the club deserve that.
  14. I went to see Piotr at the end of the season one year at Poole against Lakeside he got a paid max worth the entrance fee to see him.
  15. Both bloody good riders though, and Piotr when he is on his A game can be superb at Wimbourne Rd i would love either brother to ride for Poole again.
  16. Steve did young Josh ride with the Mcgurk twins and Archie Freeman at Newcastle? thought the name rung a bell hope the young lad gets a prolonged breakthrough chance.
  17. In the race you are refering to did Ben pass Danyon first ? then Danyon chased him hard and went around the boards to pass him.Hume i am a big fan of so it is great he is getting more race fit by the minute fingers crossed no more injuries.Morley i like alot he has always been good on the technical tracks but he has moved to the big IOW venue to improve as a rider i admire that. Now he rides the fence quite alot which is amazing for me Ben and Ash Morris are two of the biggest improving riders around.
  18. I thought Jack was a pussycat WK ?? no seriously apparently he was great with the young riders with his advice and support and i never knew he was great mates with the great Phil Crump.
  19. What was refreshing about last night was it seems that the NL this year might not have so many. easy 60/30ish home wins. The IOW put up a fight and battled hard which was great Morley(who i like) had three great battles with Hume and Hopwood battled hard also heard the young reserve Embleton has ability.I listened to the meeting on the radio and what a brilliant show it was excellent stuff that and the speedway updates do a terrific job for speedway.
  20. It was a great result for Wolves Pete Adams made a great point before the meeting saying that away points are oh so vital because you will have one blip at home in the season and you need those points to fall back on.Poole showed grit to get a draw but there are problems there team wise that need to be addressed we shall see what happens between now and Monday. But the massive difference now is even if you wanted or could bring in a big hitter ( ie a Emil,Nicki, Patryk ( ect) it is totally out of the question it is not financially viable anymore .And lets be honest if Poole cannot afford it nobody can British speedway has to change now and fasten it's belt as there is a tough road ahead for every club.Monday's meeting at Wolves is a massive one now if they come away with nothing the pressure is really on with Somerset, King's Lynn,in the mix it could be a tough road ahead i personally wont be writing the Pirates off just yet.
  21. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks i still think Poole can pull things around but with King's Lynn in the mix it wont be easy. The base of the side that i thought might start in 2018 for the Pirates was Holder ( both) Brady, Hans, Woryna, i was very worried about the look of that spine just think those riders with two others it looks pretty strong.
  22. Can you hear this meeting on the radio tonight.?
