  1. At least the Abbey hasn't got holes on the first bend as big as football's.!!!
  2. 1969 was that the year the American Dewayne Keeter had his one and only season in Britain.?
  3. The thing that is puzzling ORLOV is that the track looks really nice but the racing this year has been dire.Apart from a really nice cutback from Doyley in one race and Ellis riding his nuts off to get to Arnio the racing was dreadful.Adam this year been really pleased with him improving by the minute and at times looks quick.A real surprise last night was how poor Jake Allen was he has never done anything at the Abbey.
  4. Total nonsense as usual Belle Vue 1972 the greatest side i ever saw they kept the same 1/7 and they won it in the correct manor.Of course you want to win but most fans want a team they can relate to not keep having endless changes.Your club in the last two years chasing the dream endlless changes like Lahti,Kennett,Starke, Zengota, Nielsen, R.Worrall all short term measures.
  5. DC i so wanted Birmingham to win the league when they kept the same 1/7 when Smolinski started at reserve.Be great if a rule was brought in that apart from injury you keep the original starting line up its makes a mockery when the likes of Pawlicki and Hancock come in for the last month or so to push for a playoff win.
  6. Were you there??? are you deliberately trying to rile people on the Swindon thread you are a pain in the ass.On the meeting p... poor racing bored stiff the highlight of my night was having a pint with Hagonshocker a mention for Tobi a class act when on it he was superb.
  7. Are you sure? Tungate,Wright,Howarth all ex Swindon riders none are that great at the Abbey and Stevie W is part of Belle Vue future for along time to come.
  8. Wells was the only one available out of that lot and personally i am not a fan.But fingers crossed we can win tonight and David is back soon i personally think Somerset will win praying they dont.
  9. I think it is because our top five have not always fired Morro, Tobi really like both and David need to improve they are all more than capable those away defeats are also not just down to David also he scored 10 at Belle Vue.
  10. Doyley i am a big supporter of his and cant wait to see him ride tonight. But i can fully understand the route the management went with there team building.Could Swindon really afford a new WC ? i think not and Doyley deserves everything he gets.As for the team i cant see many riders available at the start of the season that would of been better than David. Of course Michelsen, Milik, Lebedev but they are not available the top 5 we assembled also we could not of done that with Doyley in the side.Out of interest hypothetically with Doyley in the side who would you have in place of David who was available.?
  11. Yes spot on Speedy we need to show patience with these young Brits what happened at Ipswich for me should never happen. It will be interesting to see how many points Garcia scores after Wallinger goes because Kemp should be in the easier no 7 position.
  12. Fair play Phil says alot about you we all make mistakes myself included the worst well we wont go into that great stuff.
  13. Dont agree one bit, with Doyley we could not of had a top 5 you are wrong on Morris and to assemble a top 5 like we have you have to have a 2 pointer.Bellego we all knew it would be impossible to get near to his average the previous year overall i am happy with the season. What you have to realise is where Rosco has been loyal to his riders in years to come hopefully???? riders who join us will remember that loyalty.
  14. Is Auty at reserve? i thought he was a replacement for Kristian? his converted Champ average is 6.03.
  15. The thing is Speedy he has not totally struggled at Championship level he has found life difficult at Foxhall his away performances have been encouraging. Also the gap between both leagues now is very slim and his job at PREM level will be to try to get 2 or 3 points a meeting for Leicester looking in Mountain is certainly a better rider than Smith.
  16. Well if he is not back for some of those meetings the decision not to address the problem is strange.R/R is a massive problem lose tonight and the pressure is really on just hope David is back sooner rather than later.
  17. Surely axing the Pole was a financial decision Steve he has been up and down but generally has done well he has ability as well.
  18. Surely Bellego is not a longterm injury then.?
  19. I thought Orlov maybe Swindon could of had Auty as cover only for David until he comeback and Connor was that to high.? Was thinking have Eastbourne got a rule in place to stop Tom Brennan getting different opportunities because i would of considered him or Connor.
  20. Total crap as usual if you say it is raining i check and look out the window.
  21. No need to panic even if we lose tomorrow night we will be ok who can we replace Bellego with who is better that are available.? The two riders i would of looked at are Michelson and Auty Josh only if there were two changes but his new converted Prem average is well over six to high don't change for change sake.
  22. For the Leicester celebration meeting does anyone know what ex riders will be there.?
  23. A big miss Covatti so that should help the Robins i really worry about tomorrow i fancy an away win.I thought maybe could they put Mountain at 7 ? he could nick a couple of points Doyle to get 12 plus and Holder to score well.
  24. Brennan, Stoneman, Bailey, ???? Wallinger is baffling six meetings.
  25. I felt Danyon at home without his falls would be averaging 5.20/5.60 ? if he was not injured would he of still got the nod over Connor.?.The changes for me though have covered over the cracks of not getting the top five right they should of been able to carry the two Brits end of and these changes won't amount to much.
