I think come next Thursday no way Jack should comeback his confidence has gone and it is not fair on him.Hopefully Brennan can ride again i expect the CRAZY rules say no to that hope not.If not give Anders Rowe a bit more experience whoever rides is going to do very well to beat Berge/Riss anyway but Jack Smith needs to regroup for next year and rebuild his career. -
Yes Sam Ermolenko was one of the most out of control racers that i ever saw as a rookie look what he went on and did! Danyon will be fine maybe he needs to change thing's in his racing easier said than done good luck to him in the future.

Is it a definite break for Danyon? gutted for the lad a torrid season for him.

Remember seeing Tom ride against Bickley and co and thinking he looks tidy chuffed for the lad if Swindon are still about Brennan and Rowe should be shoe/ins in the future. -

Dent Oliver how far ahead of his time was he Ove? such a shame he did not live longer did so much as a team manager with young up/coming kids. And myself at times have forgot how good a rider Dent was in his own right, Oliver and Frank Varey have always been Speedway heroes of mine -

I know the calibre of the rider i mentioned were knowwhere the level of rider you mentioned Norbold my take on it was that it was very tough to make it in the old division 1 just coming through second halves.Plenty of riders failed over the years thinking of Thomas how much pleasure did he give the fans over the years a real racer Simmo/Jessup both fine stylists. -

How many riders did you see Norbold over the years that you first thought god they won't make it but improved week on week.Malcolm Holloway,Martin Hewlett ,Alun Rossiter, are three fine examples of riders that i never envisaged being good anough for a mega tough British division 1 but they learned quickly you had to it was brutal dog eat dog being thrown in with the likes of Ashby,Kilby,Crump. -

I can remember first seeing Ali Stevens and he was very talented young Paul Dugard and Jon Surman also give there alll never quite made it but we're able riders.Going back further for the rebels really liked Timmo,Dews, and Ulf Lovass who was the complete opposite to Dag.Pander ( only see once) Genz ,and Gooddy were stalwarts and Middleton what can you say a class act who put bums on seats. -
Great love this DVD loved going to Plough Lane go to (4 mins ) and see Ronnie make mincemeat of the great Ivan what a lovely style Mirac had CLASS RIP.

Sorry mate forgot the Chessell clan and Bish and Terry who with a bit more luck could of pushed on.Brian Butterfield,Dave Main,Steve Goodwin all did well as well and all of those never had money that could of pushed them on.Going back even farther Melvyn Soffe and Dave Patten both were very capable and the reserves jaunt i.e. 1977 onwards Young Holloway,Evans,Pope bring's back real memories great days. -
To be honest Pinny my youngest lad was a big Charlie Gdedde fan and i always rated Niels higher we used to argue our cases having a laugh.Did i think Niel's would ever be a GP star probably not but Newport in Niel's ,Smart, Watson(who I liked) really had some nice riders.Going back to ZAGAR he was a class act and i first see him when Holloway (who then was old took Simon Phillip's place and Matei was a class act looking back ZAGAR has had a great career but he was certainly World Champion material.

Took Bickley from the back at Worky then made a mistake and was repassed he also rode in the very difficult home meeting v a very difficult Peterborough side then last nights tremendous paid fourteen so paid 15 points in three meetings a great start. These meetings are all about enjoying it and learning off the likes of Louis/Hawkins this lad is a prospect and his main asset I believe like Bewley is that he seems a very level headed young man.
