  1. Great point that who knows, i can remember the old criteria was that you had to achieve a 6 point average.
  2. Poole in 2019 i think could base there team around Kurtz, Jacobsen,Woryna,J.Holder. The Holder situation needs to be resolved because this year he has made huge strides he has rode so well that he would be my rider of the year along with Bewley.Maybe if you have to have a young brit at reserve Jordan Jenkins maybe an option he has been linked and looks a fine long term prospect.Holder has to be a must i would even commit and say he is ready to be an in/out number 1 now.
  3. Belle Vue certainly have always been the biggest club, Poole for years were nobody also rans most of the time a .great club still and the majority of there fans Poole ( who are not deluded) are pretty impartial and are really good and loyal fans.Coventry,Cradley, Wolves, and ( Ipswich to an extent were the best teams generally over a period Reading 73 and Sheffield 74 were really good sides to.
  4. I feel you are in your own little bubble Ford is a good promoter but does he do what is best for speedway as a whole.? Lets see if Ford could be a success in say Teeside/ Sunderland/ Barrow ? Poole is by far the best destination for speedway a mini Monaco around Sandbanks/ Bridport. Also as for your continuous slagging off of Swindon and the Abbey you need to look at the quality of Wimbourne Rd it is a million miles away from the track it used to be.
  5. Poole have the best destination for speedway only Poole fc and maybe Southampton as a competitor.Ford has done a great job for Poole and himself but has he been good for the sport as a whole??? i have my doubts.I dont agree with the win at all costs mentality the first priority for me is to get the entertainment level right winning and losing come after. Are people happy to see crap everyweek but go home happy because they are winning? i go to see good racing winning/ losing means nothing to me how important is winning to fans.?
  6. Tonge in cheek Weasel surely you ain't taking the M ...... no we shall see what happens in the new league format.Auty should stay at Scunny whatever league they are in he would do well certainly at home also he will get his Testimonial that he deserves.
  7. If there was an issue with Michael machinery or fitness wise surely it would of made sense for Dale to let the public know the reasoning behind his decision because it was a grave error.
  8. Funny thing is Moxey for years Simmo was just a great rider in my eyes the odd indinscrepicency but his reputation went after the Poole/Fearman episode.I don't know the full facts of that and i don't care he was a great rider who i enjoyed watching immensely also he was great with the fans.
  9. Should of been 8/10 years minimum and that is being generous and that is being kind look we all have made big mistakes on this forum. But this guy used to think he was a cut above everyone else talking people down sometimes but his actions he took were horrendous.
  10. I would totally agree with that all tracks apart from the NSS need looking at i have only been to Scunthorpe once but that is a lovely track also.Back to Swindon if it is a Somerset type design that would be great be happy with that the main thing is that Speedway remains in Swindon.
  11. The FUNNY farm that is where you are heading Troll comes to mind.!!!!!
  12. You are deluded your track is certainly in the bottom four tracks now in the Prem your man Ford maybe he can be questioned is he putting as much revenue in as he used to.Watch some of your highlights be honest the odd good race but alot more crap to go with it.The track i remember in the Blue Riband days and the England v USA test matches are long gone how you can slag other tracks off when yours now is very mediocre.
  13. Did the Rasmussen /Schroek affair also have a massive affect Grachan ? what do you think.
  14. It has been poor most of the Robins fans have been vocal and admitted that but last night there was snippets of some good racing. Also a bit rich coming from you (TINTED blue again ) Poole is a terrible track now light years away from being what it used to be and holes on the first bend that are still causing problems.
  15. Spot on Ray as long as we have speedway the rest is irrelevant to me anyway.
  16. Robert has done more than anough this year he has been outstanding, all the Lynn fans know he is still on the upward curve and improving.Great to think that Robert can have a blip and the other riders step up to the plate to compensate.
  17. The rule odviously was not bullet proof and there was a flaw in it. The NL / old Second division has always held a place for the likes of Mckinlay, Broadbanks ,(ect) over the years riders who were on the way down. but still had something to offer could still enjoy there speedway and could still entertain the fans.
  18. Anders Rowe got a 12 point max last night for Kent and is progressing nicely great news for the Robins one for the future( if we have one).If the Belle Vue meeting goes ahead it would be nice if maybe Anders could gain more experience and get more track time he is our asset after all does the crap rules allow it probably not.
  19. I noticed he never rode that much at Exeter over the years.
  20. It was great to see Puk getting there with his form he rode some great lines and scored heavily. With Robert only scoring 5 with no race wins to score 42 pts was a great effort shows that Lynn have a really solid side.
  21. An awful crowd i can't ever remember a crowd as low as that in all my time and how many of those had the rain off discount tickets. The Belle Vue meeting is worrying surely they will run that meeting at a huge loss and common sense should prevail just give Belle Vue the points and postpone. The meeting last night was half decent after some of the poor racing we have endured this year the Morris pass of Lambert superb and heat 15.But looking at last night King,s Lynn are a very strong side some of there team had off nights yet they still hung in there and stayed strong. The second leg looks a huge task for the Robins but they have a squeak but i think the Stars will be to strong in the end good luck to them in the playoffs.
  22. You are right Ove of course you don't need to SLAG the guy off,and by the way he is only a referee he should be made accountable not be aloud to just move on to his next meeting.Like anybody in a workplace if you make a mistake you have to hold your hands up he walks away scott free and says nothing. If Tai does lose the title because of that decision is that right? it was such a strange decision if you exclude Tai the rest of the riders in that race would have to go as well. Another point worth making as well would a John Berry or a Eric Boocock not of made there views known i think so.
  23. Falcace that race and the whole meeting was a treat last week i have watched it again twice since then. That race would be up there for me in my four favourite ever races the other three would be Gollob/Nilsen-- Morton/ Carter (Northern riders championship 1983. ) - 1973.Sheffield England v Sweden Collins. E.Boocock Michanek T.Jansson. race that race last week was awesome even my wife said so.
  24. He is getting there and he looked quick at the Abbey last week. What i notice about Craig now is Aces he is riding different lines experimenting he was riding right up to the fence at Swindon he is not a one trick pony he has more improvement in him i am sure of it.
