Let me think about it.
-
Nicklas is not doing UK in 2018. Will be doing Poland, Sweden and Denmark. Before AGM signed 2 year contract for a Danish team. So even if he thought of changing his mind, the set nights of Wednesday’s would not enable this now.
-
The Danish system of grading riders A-B-C is better. Grade riders annually before AGM. Very easy then to set teams by how many A-B or C riders. You can have 1x A 4x B and 2x C or 2xA 3xB 2xC or 3xA 1xB 3xC as examples.
-
Now with racing Monday and Wednesday. How many of these Danes will ride UK Premiership - NKI - KBjerre - Hans Andersen - LBjerre - TJorgensen - NKlindt - MPT - PHougaard - Jan Graversen Of course others such as Nicki P - Leo Madsen - Kilderman etc. but don’t think these will be be considering UK in their 2018 plans Be interesting to see DMU view that Uk has set Wednesday’s as a set race night.

How about keeping it simple 3pts for a win 2pts for a draw 0pts if you loose No black/white double points If you want bonus points - add points of both Home and Away meetings and winner gets a bonus point. Yes 2 in Poland and 2 in Sweden - both still needed. As was well published he had his 2nd UK bike stolen here in UK. Buster said he would sort out a second bike to get him through the last few meetings. Unfortunately that hasn't materialised. He doesn't have a bottomless pit and having built 6 bikes this season, there was no way he could afford to build a 7th one for the last remaining meetings of the season. Having missed most of June and July through injury, work out the maths, just not viable. His other option would have been to quit UK and done Denmark instead. (Using Swedish bikes as they go from DK to to Sweden each week) but he didn't want to quit being loyal to Buster and King's Lynn Stars. My advice looking at his situation was to quit, but he said he wasn't a quitter and if Buster loaned a 2nd bike he would continue. Personally the way UK speedway is going I can't wait for season to be over and we can start preparations for 2018 in Europe. -

Of course Nicklas was only commenting on the line he rode. And he was more than happy with it. He had walked track and likes it with some depth and grip. Unfortunately never got chance to ride those lines. Every rider makes mistakes, they are human. Only reported what THJ said to Nick and myself. No one else was there so wasn't prevented from biting hand that.... Robert was wearing a knee brace. I mean I didn't hear any rider complain about the track. Certain plenty of supporters were complaining but those I spoke to seem more concerned how Nicklas was. I agree I don't like double headers, certain most riders not too keen also. But that was situation and the teams had to make the most of it. Totally agree 1st meeting was over with ht4 crash, with Nicklas then THJ withdrawing. A shame as I think could have been closely fought meeting. But no one plans in advance that you will loose 3 riders. Sod's law but perhaps that's been 2017 -

Race 1 Jorgensen locks up - wrong his handlebar grip came loose and was twisting in his hand so didn't have control of bike, so pulled up. This is what he told me immediately after the race. Race 2 Greaves goes wide and locks up - why tracks fault or the rider just made a mistake. Nicklas having won the race, told me track was great. Had some grip but knew it would get slick as night progressed over 30 heats. All riders were expecting this. Race 4 THJ admits just went into bend 3 too fast and deep. Lost control unfortunately Nicklas had no where to go. Nicklas with medics with suspected concussion so they didn't want him to continue especially when learning he was concussed in Poland 3 weeks before and was just returning from this injury. Saw and spoke to THJ in the car park. He was in pain and was doubled up. He sat in chair as mechanics loaded van. Apologised to me that he was cause of Nicklas having to withdraw. Robert Lambert - I was alone with Robert in changing room, as I collected Nicklas kit bag. He was in underpants and even I (not being a doctor ) could see how blown up his knee was. Robert has been limping for sometime, I asked him prior to meeting how it was and he said much better. He told me in ht15 he dragged his left leg which caught on track and twisted it. Yes he could possibly have continued, done more damage and that would be season over. So he made decision to withdraw, correct in my opinion. Perhaps fans might like to review their opinions with some facts. I didn't hear one complaint re track. With the expected 30 heats, of course track grading etc, was required. Was it extensive, no - just track grading and watering. -

There was nothing wrong with track. It was smooth, had usual grippy starts. Just because a rider falls it's not always the track. Track grading as normal took place after each 4 heats. No extensive work was done just grading and watering. Where were you in Arena to have the view the track was at fault? Did you walk the track ? Or were you at home and came to this conclusion via social media ? -

I can categorically confirm I am not becoming a co-promoter of the Club. I have never had any discussions with Lynn management re this at all. I am a friend of Buster and a Club fan. I only got involved in a small way with speedway when Buster asked me if Nicklas could stay a couple of nights back in 2013. On top of that I am retiring after Christmas and moving full time to live in France. I will still assist Nicklas going to see him race in Poland, Denmark and Sweden. -

Ok you Buster bashers ! Let's give you some facts. Buster and Wolves management wanted to call off 2nd meeting tonight as Lynn were down to 3 riders. Buster suggested to ref to call off meeting, as only the ref can call off a meeting, and he would refund £8 back to each fan. Chris Van Straaten was happy for meeting to be called off also. Ref refused both their requests and said 2nd meeting had to take place. So don't go blaming Buster or Wolves for this, this is down to the ref. -

Just to put you in the picture. Nicklas rode terribly against Somerset. He looked ill, still suffering from concussion and numerous sleepless nights. If you noticed he wasn't in pits between races, but in changing room trying to get away from noise and throwing up. He didn't want to let Buster down so he rode, but shouldn't have in my opinion. He did Ok at Belle Vue paid 8 on what was a very slick track, made slippery by rain and sludge on the outside. He's still not sleeping well but will continue putting 100% effort in.

This is one of those meetings you hope the forecast of thunderstorms is correct. 2 teams 14 riders - what is it 6 missing because of doubling up or injury. Possibly Robert Lambert and Lasse Bjerre also injured, so that would be 8 missing. Other 6 who turn will feel rather lonely. -
Yes he is. After nasty crash in Rzeszow on Sunday and concussion he is not allowed to ride for 7 days, hence missing last night and sadly Saturday.

Well done to Swindon, they have a strong team which is riding well. I enjoyed last nights meeting, the track looked good, was smooth though a bit dusty. Certain Buster held off watering in case more rain arrived. Kai rode very well, especially h14 passing on the outside. Spoke with Robert before the meeting and could see he was limping badly. So don't think he was fully fit. THJ was on borrowed equipment I believe until his own bikes arrive. Auty was a bit nervous going through tapes and then flipping on start line. But all put 100% effort in and will win meetings. Good to see fans applaud Buster after his interview from the centre of track. Yes on paper we have a weakened team, but all the team are triers and I'd rather see that, win or lose than any rider just going through the motions. Unfortunately I see we have to use guests and RR at Leicester on Saturday due to doubling up clashes. But we are at full strength Monday at home to Somerset and think we will beat them. Though on BT Sport hopefully we will see a good crowd and fans will use opportunity to bring friends with the reduced £10 admission.

They throw bottles and are often segregated like football fans especially at local derbys
