The Adventure Boyz movie, filmed on location at Arlington stadium in 2018, has now officially had its UK DVD release and is available to buy online by clicking the link below. Buy the DVD Eagles TV caught up with the writer, director and star of the movie Howard J Ford following the release of the film.

With the 2020 season delay, we are sure many Warriors and indeed speedway fans around the world are missing their weekly fix of speedway action. So, starting today, every 3 days we will release historic footage from the Warriors which you can watch, for free. We will commence right at the beginning, and work though our journey one meeting at a time until we are all back racing again and enjoying our sport.

Hey guys, there is a new feature film being release this month in the cinema that heavily features speedway. In the video below, Eagles TV caught up with the star, director and hero of the ADVENTURE BOYZ movie Howard J Ford, along with members of the cast whilst at Arlington Stadium during the Eastbourne 'Eagles' vs Leicester 'Lions' meeting on 30/06/2019. Partly filmed at Arlington stadium in 2018 including on track racing action from the Eagles treble winning team, ADVENTURE BOYZ is set for release on the 20th July at the Halisham Pavilion. Inspired by parent’s observations on how much time kids, and adults alike, spend on their devices, ADVENTURE BOYZ aims not only to entertain the whole family, but to remind children about the exhilaration and joy of discovering and experiencing the outside world. Starring Howard J Ford and his own children, Rory and Felix, and surrounded with an amazing cast, from Harry Potter to World War Z, plus the star of Never Let Go, Adventure Boyz has an outrageous plot with a profound scope for the 'boyz' to learn from real life experiences. The positive messages contained in the film are already garnering a lot of support and interest, and has enjoyed a fantastic reception at Cannes. Private Film Industry screenings are planned during the coming weeks in London and it is scheduled for local screenings in Sussex during the School Holiday period. Hi Gordon, yes there was a few dips and bumps on the track the first day. However, all the riders and families I spoke to said they enjoyed riding the track and was complimentary towards it, so must look worse than it was to ride etc. What I can say is that on Day 2 whilst the riders were having their off track training, Team Warrior worked tirelessly on the track all day, even battling a down poor of torrential rain half way through the day so that it would be top for the riders on day 3. Again, the comments on day 3 were that they liked it on Day 1, but it was even better on Day 3. So you can be the judge of that once the footage for day 3 is uploaded. Many thanks, Andy

Hi David, quite a lot of people, myself included come over from the mainland each meeting. The cheapest way I would say is to book the FastCat from Portsmouth. Book your ticket through the www.wightwarriors.co website and you get a discount on the ticket. You would have to pay for parking for the evening in Portsmouth, or find a free spot somewhere. You can book a FREE Taxi up to 24 hours before the meeting by contacting the club on speedwayontheisland@yahoo.co.uk which will pick you up from the ferry crossing point and take you to the stadium, and after the meeting the taxi will return you to the ferry point FREE of charge also. However, the most fun way is to drive over from Portsmouth, come up to the Premier Lounge after the meeting and talk to the promoters and riders etc, and then catch the 11pm ferry back with most of the riders and other fans. Makes it more of an event. Andy
