  1. May be the case but not the way it was apparently communicated.
  2. This has come about by dictate from Rob Godfrey. Glasgow now at Armadale on the 6th as part of the dictate. You are correct that three teams are due in action at Armadale on the 13th but suspect the BSPL chairman could not be bothered about the NDL matches being mucked about again if 13th is set as 2nd leg.
  3. 010.3.1 says 'No team changes will be allowed once that team has completed 75% of their fixtures'
  4. You must remember that Edinburgh are running in two leagues. At present they have moved NDL meetings for CL, and I'm sure it will happen again. I don't think Glasgow folks would appreciate Edinburgh trying to give younger riders opportunities.
  5. Maybe not! But they should have had meetings at home rather than away at Glasgow, Redcar and Scunthorpe. Seniority should have meant that these meetings were held on their alternative days. That may have then allowed the NDL lads to get their meetings in.
  6. Could Mr Barrie's announcements have been deemed 'outside assistance'. Also got to question his behaviour at heat 10 restart when he 'harassed' Fredriksen at the tapes. As a Track Official he should have been sanctioned by the referee. In my opinion removed from his duties and removed from the centre green for the rest of the meeting at the least. Note he didn't treat Barker in the same way in the restart of heat 15.
  7. JOIN MONARCHS SPEEDWAY ACADEMY THIS SATURDAY! Edinburgh are constantly trying to encourage new young folks to start riding and tomorrow they are holding an open day - details Join Monarchs Speedway Academy this Saturday! | News Centre | Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway | Official Club Website
  8. There is NO race format stipulated as the NDLRC is not covered by the Speedway Regulations 2024 or by Supplementary Regulations.
  9. Forgot about the referee's copy was just typing out when you posted.
  10. Any result for Redcar v Ashfield, which was due to take place on Saturday?

  12. 02.2.11 g) The referee can use muli angle replay technology supplied by Eurosport, BSN and the tracks own streaming service, via a monitor.
  13. Have you ever a good thing to say about Edinburgh? No thought not. A good number from Edinburgh off to Poland for the GP, all booked before the fixture was arranged.

  17. Hope you people in the 'Cancel Culture' don't do anything wrong or you might end up with people trying to cancel you.
  18. He can only get one meeting per month/league at each track, unless changed due to there being less meetings this year, and being a 'local' referee. Willie Dishington was due as referee at Edinburgh v Glasgow that was rained off, local referee again. The fee for a local referee is less than those from a distance away so sensible to use local referee for first fixture of season to help club cash flow.
  19. Did the Start Marshal get into trouble? Genuine Question. I seem to recollect an incident of this sort a number of years back at Workington where, if I'm correct, the referee through him out of the meeting
  20. May have been a good idea to give the punters cancellation information in advance. Some of us ARE interested in NJL.
  21. You refer to the phrase 'a BSP Ltd registered transponder' There is nothing to say that they HAVE to be fitted or where and how fitted on a machine. This needs to be defined so that everyone is equal.
