I'll agree to the comments about precessional racing early on in the meeting, but thought the track and thus the racing improved towards the latter stages. Some good battles and a few passes made it more entertaining later in the meeting. Glad the Lions have their first points on the board, Wozniak looked back to the rider that quickly became a favourite last year!

Leicester would sign him on the basis that he might actually say yes to us... if we can field 7 riders its a bonus for us! Bigger bonus if (like Kyle) they actually try to compete!

In fairness, Doyleys head and shoulders above everyone else. Our top 5 v there 2-5 is much of a muchness, and we're stronger at reserve. Should hopefully result in a close meeting (with Lions finally picking up league points!)

Lions just tweeted that Walasek has been released with Summers coming in to replace him for Wednesdays meeting against Swindon

Cheers, the way he's been riding I doubt it'd take much persuading to part ways with Walasek. They must have someone lined up to replace him (or a guest I suppose) if they're talking about declaring the team for Wednesday

Im sure he'd ride for Coventry or Swindon. But apparently he wants big money... and a saturday track isn't ideal for an ekstraliga rider. I'm sure we'd have tried it before the season started, if it was a no then, I can't see what circumstances would make it a yes now

I would be happy with Kenneth, as I reckon most of the fans would be.. but I would have thought we'd have tried him at the start of the season. If he wasn't willing to then, whats the likelihood he'd be willing to now?

Suggestions that 'someone' has been sacked following last nights meeting. Safe to assume the implied person would be Walasek, but has there been any confirmation anywhere?

Id have been intrigued to see him v Walasek in who can spend more time on the centre green! Hope greg can find the form of last year though, been frustrating so far but I do think he's an excellent rider

Fancy Belle Vue to take both meetings with relative comfort. Especially with the guest booking of Harris, he'll score better than r/r would have at Belle Vue and will definitely score more than Zagar would at BP

Could be our best chance of even competing with you though. No Zagar, you've not quite come to terms with the track yet and all or our riders have a point to prove now that their job is definitely on the line following comments after the meeting against Lakeside. I still think it'll be a Belle Vue win, but our reserves are flying.. and our Poles might actually pull their finger out

That's disappointing. One of the reasons I frequented Cov last season on occasion was due to the price difference between a student ticket at Brandon and a full price ticket at Beaumont Park. Now they have a student price at Leicester and not at Cov!

Have they rescinded the student cost? When I went I showed them my student card from the university, not an NUS card. University cards have expiration dates (at the end of the course) and can't be purchased online (unlike NUS cards).. Surely that'd be a way of making sure students get the student rate?

Pedersen took the proverbial out of us last year! Wouldn't go back to him with our tail between the legs. Wonder if something could be sorted with Zengota?
