Poole Pirates 2021
poolebolton replied to Pirates Of Poole's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
They all know the limit. Isn't like other teams haven't signed a whole team yet ohhh wait. -
As a current student. Im not paying to go into a meeting, ive been to football, horse racing all for free and even rugby for £5 if you made it £1 people might go. Far better thinks available for what is around.

What riders may come back to UK in 2020?
poolebolton replied to Falcon1983's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
1,11,16,18 have a chance the rest don't. -
Well it’s currently 11 champ teams (Plymouth) to 9 prem teams.
-
I for one think the league winning team In each league. Would have to be rounded to the nearest 0.5. But agree would be a good idea.

Garrity should not be allowed to ride. Has done some dodgy things. -
Well riders signed so far suggests to me that the limit will be high.
-
Have fun in the Premiership! CVS just confirmed it.
-
Currently 67% of riders in the premiership ride in the championship.
-
He said he isn’t doing champ. He is doing Prem. He has had a few phone calls already with a number of teams .

Bar Fricke and Doyle not sure anyone is really that good. Everyone else is 2nd tier Poland in reality. Even, Kurtz, Lambert, Holder, etc etc. -

Think the key thing for poole to try and achieve in the champ. is to have at least 2 big hitters and a reserve who can clean up. -
Who are your top five riders in 2019.

I agree about Josh Bates. I’ve heard people saying he is struggling to walk. I think it’s better to call it quits that really damage himself. -

1. Rasmus Jensen- delivered for both teams. Won Swindon the league IMO and him and Cook are a power house Duo in the champ. Has already signed in Euro leagues for next year(smart move). 2. Nicolai Klindt- Carried a Poole team to top spot and turned up with Josh G. A great servant for any team. Arguably, the greatest team man in the UK. I think he provides more than his 7.43 average. (think he is really an 8.5 rider due to the team man he is). Think most clubs should be looking at trying to get a Nic and Josh G signing duo in the prem). 3. Charles Wright- British Champ, decent Cardiff GP, lone bright spot on Pboro and carried Redcar a long way. I hope he pushes on and tries Europe and is somewhat of a late bloomer. 4. Ellis Perks- being in 3 finals and looking like he will win at least 2 is pretty impressive. Gives 110% and you can't ask for anymore than that. 5. Adam Ellis- thought he was great in the last 2 months of the season and was great for Bham as well. I think he has potential to be a number 5 in the prem. Needs to be in the champ still for a year or 2 longer. (I think we have seen that Lambert and Bewley(I appreciate the Injury) to some extent pushed too early. Worse riders 1. Steve Worrall- career has stagnated, is lucky he is on very good averages in both leagues but needs to get it back together 2. Hans- injury-ridden year, but quite frankly has been awful all over Europe. 3.Ricky Wells- average dropped 2.11 points in a single season. Quite frankly was awful at BV and Poole. 4. Ty Proctor- Very similar to Worrall- needs to sort it out asap though. 5. Nick Morris- everyone thought he was signing of the season and has done nothing. Rather disappointing. -
Birmingham Brummies 2020

Bomber isn't bad. Sure, Shanes will be to add to that crew. Bham building a solid team. -
I agree, but i think Lynn, BV and Wolves might all be after him.
-
Think behind some of the swindon boys, He has been rider of the season. Think all clubs should be after him.
-
Leicester arent paying riders. So i don't think they are in a position to keep who they want.

I think only covatti and maybe Worrall have a chance of coming back. (I think riders might be giving the Lions a thanks but no thanks after not being paid). Wonder if Perks would be interested is our asset after all. Could see Starke being pulled into the fold. THJ would be an intriguing one if he rode like he did against the witches could be a big time scorer but a bit of a risk. Would want to see him have some good equipment. I wonder if a 4 point rider from abroad could be brought in. -
Agree. Just from looking at the averages. A lot of clubs 2/2.5 points over the limit. 42.5 allows big hitters to come in.
