Fantastic season for Crumpy, delighted for him. Just hope he can add another couple to his tally!! -
Todays The Day!
Mick Dundee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'd definitely say Trick is still the man to beat, but form wise Crumpy is the man at the moment, all is set up for a great season. -
2006 World Championship
Mick Dundee replied to Alun Chapple's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
1. Crump 2. Rickardsson 3. Pedersen After that its a scrap for the top 8 but i think itll be those three fighting for the title -
Gb Get Speedway Wc Final 2006!
Mick Dundee replied to Brightonbob's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'd definitely vouch for Coventry or Peterborough definitely, decent tracks which is what counts the most and more importantly not right on the south coast! -
Great Gp!
Mick Dundee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It was an awesome weekend, best GP so far racing wise in my opinion. The crowd was amazing, i expected it to drop a little but im glad i was wrong! Great Craic around Cardiff as always, heres to next year!! -
The Ref Is A Clown.
Mick Dundee replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Just got back from a great weekend, and the first thing I want to say is I was disgusted with the ref last night, he was consistently awful in his treatment of Crumpy and thats all you can say. The last exclusion was right and Jason held his hands up, but the first two were a case of going down far too easily and what should have been all 4 back. I hope luck evens itself out in some way for Jase because that could lose him the championship and it shouldnt be because of an awful referee. -
Cant Wait now its less than 2 weeks away, Is Sams bar the best place for a pint? Ive never been old enough before so it hasnt bothered me!

Cardiff Attendance
Mick Dundee replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Me and my dad took them up on their offer but we ended up getting the free tickets for Gothenburg again last season. I think the attendance will be down slightly, but still huge. I think the novelty will have worn off for a lot of the non hardcore speedway fans and theyll stick to watching it on the tv. I wouldnt miss it for the world, its a unique atmosphere and i only wish i could have made it to wembley to compare the two. -
British Gp Reserves Named
Mick Dundee replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Really pleased for Simon, if he gets a couple of rides he could score points. Pleasedf they have gone for younger riders as well, giving them the chance is what its all about!! -
Great night for Crump, him and Tony are looking like the ones to beat so far. No defence of Nicki Pedersen, it was a bad move and he was rightfully excluded, its his attitude that I cant get over. He didnt seem in the slightest bit bothered hed just rammed the side of one of his Danish team mates, a move which could have injured him. Decent GP overall though, Scotty was just unlucky and no doubt hell pick it up for the next round.

I'd like a copy if it isnt too much trouble. My adress is: bellevuefan@hotmail.com

I really think Gollob will do much better this season because the two Swedish Gp's are on "proper" tracks. Adams is the obvious choice but its a boring bet!!!
-
I definitely think a fiver on Gollob isnt such a wild bet, Hancock isnt bad either.

Grand Prix
Mick Dundee replied to SpeedieGonzalez's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think Holta is unlucky not to be in it, but perhaps the GP's loss may be the Elite League's gain! -
Thanks tomazpozrl. They certainly know how to do it better than us, a lot of the teams are nearly complete!

Is there anywhere you can find updates in english on the transfers that are going on in Sweden at the moment and the way the teams will line up for next year. I know its only early days yet but it'd be good to find out who's riding where etc.

1. Tomasz Gollob 2. Jason Crump 3. Nicki Pedersen 4. Jaroslaw Hampel -
I can see tomorrows meeting being nobodies but Crump's. He's so focused and i just think its his year! Jonsson is impressive so i think hes due a good one, as is Nicki Pedersen, but this is SGP and anything can happen. Either way i think this one will be one of the best GP's of the season.
