  1. a strong possibility chris will start in the premier league next season with his brother james helping as mechanic and having a few practices after meetings
  2. very poor effort from australian MA authority,a great opportunity for the youg riders at international level, shows how much the australian riders are supported by their governing body,a team could have easily been put together from riders in GB and australia, troy batchelor, jason doyle, chris holder, robert kiezak, matt whethers .would have been very competitive what will the young guys think
  3. anyone out there able to help me i am looking for a dvd or video of the recent u/21 semi final from tarnow ,if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated
  4. what about young chris holder's effort, his score doesn't represent his meeting ,came from behind in heat oneto finish 2nd,lead hlib and Klecha only for his plug lead to break in ht 2 ,nearly beat rempala and was leading king, lingren and schramm only to fall through a bit of inexperience ,the boy is 17 and has rode a handful of meetings in his homeland, should be a future prospect for the aussies
  5. does anyone know anything regarding these meetings, teams, riders, tracksetc ?
  6. definately the unluckiest rider was chris holder who was leading both heats comfortably before his bike suffered machine problems ,showed his class with excellent gating and control on a grippy track, only led by the 2 internationals, sheilds and watson , bad luck for the young fella.
  7. add after the gosford round the under 16 australian title just up the road from gosford at somersby promoted by mick poole and his band of helpers, and hopefully an aussie world champ there to hand out the trophy's
  8. pretty sure meeting was washed out
  9. for the speedway enthusiast the meeting was below average in both the bike demo and the speedcars i suppose the competitors can only do so much on a track that was not conclusive to good racing ,1 line track too narrow weird shape ,like a pear, also i think the barriers on the infield (3foot high barrier filled with water)was a joke and dangerous to the bikes ,ask adams he had a big moment in turn 4 and nearly seen his season flash before him after hitting a rut and being bounced out of his seat ,and nearly off the bike would not have been pretty ,sully not far behind said he was amazed leigh stayed on!!!!!!! great idea wrong venue ,should try ekka or wayville ,sydney is not like the good old days anymore ,so stop embarrassing speedway and those involved by promoting meetings with such restrictions such as barriers to save the grass infield .
  10. the meeting at mussellbrook was won by lee herne ,jorgenson, batchelor and chris watson not craig. i believe this was chris watson's final meeting as he is retiring , if you didn't know chris was the king of aussie dirt track and long track racing for the last 20 years or so he holds over 100 titlres to his name ask any of the aussie riders who is the best dirt track rider they will all say chris ,including riders as wiltshire, pooley, boycey, steven davies the list goes on and on chris was virtually unbeatable on the dirt/long track scene here in aussie a great competitor, rider and fair dinkum aussie. chris now helps out numerous young local riders from the cessnock and hunter area. good luck for the future mate
