  1. chapman has to be given a fair chance to improve things, will take a lot more than one agm ! has any promoter stated they supported the edr changes they all seem to be saying "not me,not me i was against it" its a mess we have to live with this yr,hoping as another poster put the averages have some semblance of sanity come the play offs.
  2. would that be the same limo he uses to get to coventry??
  3. only guessing but steve has a lower official average than adam
  4. went on plymouth website opened up ok clicked on" fixtures" nothing?? in devon hols 25/6 to 2/7
  5. you make it all sound so easy starman(prepared many speedway tracks have we?) on the plus side if it is that easy it will already have been done, problem solved for the rest of the season
  6. id rather see them in the national league and making some money than close down
  7. hes only had all winter and nearly half of this season to get organised, why leave things to the afternoon of his first match
  8. love the big chairs on the grass, not quite so much on the tracks, not the speed or width of track, drivers and passengers must be the bravest racers around. i think it was paul miller(good sidecar racer himself)tried to promote a few sidecar meetings at poole without success, terrrible crowds, bit like the buccaneers anything different nobody turns up
  9. smallest crowd of the season, tho a lot of us stayed and waited for the bv team to do victory lap on the truck and they received a good ovation,as did rider of the night worrall.track was obviously sh-t,poole were poor belle vue won, no excuses, thats the way sport goes
  10. your right poole website will never show correct riding order, feeble attempt to deter supporters from printing their own scoresheet
  11. yes steve i was somewhat puzzled by his post.put simply in a run off for the final qualifying place for example i would want lambert to beat kurtz, when they race in the league the opposite, want kurtz to win everytime. simples
  12. more important than brady qualifying lets hope all or some of the other brits qualify today
  13. correct edi. seems official averages might not be right so bjarne not at reserve, does anybody know if hes in denmark anyway?
  14. when watt gets a new lower average will that allow leicester to further strengthen?
  15. first real opportunity to gauge if the poole fans are going to "pick" their meetings this yr.(prediction big home win)
  16. great for craig cook he needs to be given every opportunity to really push on
  17. grw though its obviously totally acceptable for you to have differing views on the subject theres really no need for comments such as"go outside and play" this all has nothing to do with poole and who i support is irrelevant, the point i was making was that speedway promoters dont have a divine right to be successesfull or make a profit and the ones that arent so good at it wont(i wish hed made a huge success of it)many years ago i had greengrocery shops bmouth and ringwood, some of us made good money some great money and some went bust,i sold and bought small hotel in bournemouth, probably more risky than speedway promoting we had the business for 12yrs before selling for flats, during that time dozens and dozens of small hotels went bust or the owners lasted a couple of yrs then got out the business, similar to speedway, the point im making is that in any business if your not very good its going to be a real struggle.respectfully yours keith
  18. so hes still the owner staying as managing director and his wife is going to take his job as promoter hardly needs a press release hes just having a rant.this is a guy who built a new track that was the wrong shape, races on the wrong night and or runs his team in the wrong league, them blames everyone else
