Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem B. 1st August 2018
poole keith replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
the guy walked out from the tractor area where the public arent allowed carrying a plastic drum with the top cut off and poured it in 4 different places other track staff were with him.do you think a fan has gone through the turnstile carrying an open drum of oil,i always take drinks, sandwiches and chocolate but have to admit never a drum of oil lol -

dont know anything about the legal ramifications but it does appear that most if not all tracks have in the past or still are doing similar see bob cs post,i thought his mention of mixing the oil into the water bowser was a more discreet and efficient way of spreading the oil.One thing though is that no track is doing it to gain an advantage but to create a better surface for both sets of riders and a better meeting for the paying customer -

great meeting, crowd, racing, and result.stayed a while after the meeting chatting and waiting for traffic to clear, seen the oil put down from a container,on entrance to first bend and into the bend, lambert photo it on his way to shower, must help track prep, remember riders always said tracks were good in 50s and60s because of the oil that leaked from the engines -

if robert(probably for the first time this season)has 5 days with no bookings i think hes probably entitled to go away and have a break -
i believe the stadium itself is safe, but there will be partial development on the site, the freeholder and the leaseholder each need the others support to achieve this but as both pbc and stadia uk would like some development (for completely different reasons) it will happen. However i believe at present they will sit on things at swindon and poole(they both make money) until the greyhound media rights battle is decided, two companies battling to be the only provider, put simply its ladbrookes group verses arc group,co has put swindon and poole in the arc group, time will tell, think theyre also following developments at oxford council re their stadium.maybe they might concentrate on torquay project, who knows?

well thanks a lot, whoever you are, it says a lot about you that you are so dismissive and rude to fellow speedway fans, even those who support the same club as you, thanks again.i wrote that it was my opinion that r/r for josh would not "desperately weaken" the team on monday,if r/r produces say 5,6 or 7pts that would surely mean we were not "desperately weakened" by the r/r.No facility and a 2pt replacement who fails to score would have "desperately weakened" the team jmo.PS if your going to be offensive in your reply then dont bother, though i predict you will feel compelled to have the last post.

not worried about the team its a decent competitive side, just hope for the good of poole speedway, and speedway in general that tomorrows meeting is problem free -
i dont think this yrs poole team is the result of a dastardly or even cunning plan, its a team which has just evolved through a combination of circumstance ie legal wrangles, injuries underperformers, limited availabilitys ,financial restraints and hey ho we end up with a competitive team
-
in recent yrs building a team without at least one strong reserve, all season, has been a real risk, and the poole team with no superstar no 1 a rider like klindt is essential, and of course attainable because of the pts saved at no1.

not doubting the quality of your post steve, however i believe starman is correct "its to long" the nature of these sports forums is "short and sweet"(well not always "sweet")

Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 4/7/18
poole keith replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
the stadium car parks were moved into the poole "development plan" by the council planners but not the stadium itself.been to a few meetings unrelated to speedway chaired by clarke osborne and would be certain he has not the slightest desire to own the site steve, however some development of car park area would presumably interest, believe the council are also interested as they are way behind in" new build" targets set by westminster,so could be mutually beneficial !!!! -

think were capable of getting a winning 3pts!! -
stick with the team as it is,no no1 but very solid, stick with them and see where we end up

stadia uk have a long lease from the council for the complex, the speedway sublets from them, the details of that would be private but i do know talks on rent, staffing etc have at times been shall we say tense.
