In your offer price you have to factor in how much dosh you need in reserve to cover risk,cost of assembling a 2019 team,40k bspa bond,the risk of 5 rain offs in a row,the risk of having similar very poor crowds as march to july this yr,the big risk that many of the sponsors are "matts sponsors" and may not stay with you,and the killer risk "security of tenure" bearing all the rumour re the stadium in the last 3months.But after all that(i doubt you fall into this category ss) if you are a wealthy enthusiast then go for it

not strictly true lisa,the original negotiations as i understand was that the future leaseholder had to make the stadium available for two of the three sports,greyhounds,speedway and football,but that the leaseholder would decide which two would operate(certain that ptc were thinking the football would be poole town,even though that prospect reared its head a couple of yrs ago it would appear to be dead in the water)though to comply with the lease any football team would probably do.

very good question,with poole being for sale many people have asked the same,so far the list of assets is 1xclapped out tractor,2xwheelbarrows and 5 rakes! rider assets? thats a big gamble,a buyer can only base an offer on the profits shown on the accounts,then has to factor in risks such as will attendance remain the same,what happens if first 3 meetings are rained off? and dont forget bspa bond! i think any prospective buyer has to be a massive fan,slightly mad a real gambler and very wealthy,sorry

just watched replay certainly a shocking decision to exclude mpt,that crash and exclusion had big impact on final scoreline me thinks, as did somersets loss of holder cost them a place in the final me thinks.the second half of this season has certainly gone our way,of course harris regarded as the key to our revival would not be at poole had rye sadly not folded,but thats sport and you have to grab your good fortune with both hands

big advantage to poole now,all the good work done by kl through the season gone in the final hours of the season

went to southern premier league match this afternoon and the the the talk was as much about mondays speedway as footie,its all building up and building up,be there or be square!! think it could still be very tight,but its definitely going to be good

the thing about shoveler that infuriated me most was his attitude and disrespect to other poole fans,like the vast majority of poole fans i dont know( and dont want to) who he is but he doesnt do the club any good.Ive no idea ,and dont want to know why he was banned, but i wouldnt imagine it was a major issue,hope he can now learn from his mistake ,move on,and just enjoy the evening at speedway win,lose or draw

fair comment bags,same for both teams and everybody knows the rule before the start

the first" track shape"to be worked out will be that of the greyhound track,the speedway will then have to work within those constraints,so not a total blank canvass,but still some room to work with,track width,camber etc,think they will be hoping to resolve the drainage issues between the two surfaces as a priorty

in the past boycie prepared some engines specifically for poole that the promotion loaned to riders

correct me if im wrong daniel but it all depends on a 20 match rolling ave what you scored on the meeting thats being dropped,eg a rider with 7pt ave could have a good meeting and score 9 from4 but if in the meeting he s dropping he scored 12 from 4 his 7pt ave would drop fractionally,or if a 5pt rider had a bad meeting and only scored 3 his ave would go up fractionlly if in the meeting he s dropping he didnt score at all

so do we assume poole also wont be trying to win their final league match next wed? if not apart from the few diehards on this forum is it really worth the general public bothering to turn up to watch?
