  1. Obviously my viewpoint is totally different to yours and I I have no divine opinion like yours of having to be in the elite league , costs need to be kept down or cut in some cases to allow speedway to continue at many clubs and having a 3 pointer at #6 and #7 would surely help these clubs survive and it would also help to cap admission prices. Then again you may consider to just carry on as we have been doing and see the poorer off clubs go to the wall.
  2. Just like to point out to you that those you are calling national league wobblers are the future of British speedway and deserve to have the chance to progress personally I would like to see all premier league clubs having to include at #6 and #7 3 point national league riders of British nationality. I seem to remember in the early days of British league div 2 in the 70's most clubs were at least blooding one and maybe two youngsters with little or no experience of the leagues set ups and only been riding in second halves.
  3. Is that where you keep those precious track covers , no wonder the cabinets are bulging.
  4. Can you imagine the likes of Eastbourne , Kent , Mildenhall and Buxton paying out extra wages to be in the premier league and landed with additional expenses visiting the likes of Glasgow , Edinburgh and Workington,They simply wouldn't be able to afford the added costs and would more than likely be the end of speedway for them.
  5. Like I said there's a forum coming taking place in the next few weeks in front of full management team , i suggest you attend and put your viewpoint
  6. Well as you can see those views expressed by Flappy are not my views and hopefully not the views of the majority of Panthers fans. I'm quite sure if Ged released those two riders they would have little trouble getting fixed up elsewhere . I'm all for making changes if a rider is struggling and sometimes it's best for both parties when this happens but I don't believe in making changes just for change sake , very unsettling for riders to know that's the situation there coming into and also gives a bad impression of the club as a whole.
  7. If it's the difference speedway or no speedway yes , unless you have a better idea. I see both the riders mentioned by you worthy of a team place , I havn't a problem with them regardless of contributions and would be quite happy for them to be in the team for 2017. As I understand it from someone very influential no deals or decisions have been made to any riders at the moment until BSPA meeting discussions and format have been formulated ,but if you want to have your say there will be a forum coming up in the next few weeks in front of full management team where you will be able to ask any questions or points you want to make , if you feel so strongly about it I would suggest you should attend.
  8. Are you putting up money for sponsorships then as without these highly valued contributors there would be no speedway. Perhaps you could explain yourself and tell us just what you are talking about?
  9. A bit of a gamble in my opinion , not enough consistency to be honest,we need to select riders that are not going to be replaced midway through the season we've done enough of this in the past 2 years and must get it right this time , other teams do it so why can't we.
  10. And K Bjerre would be just the same . 2 home meetings at the showground was just a stocking filler for the pair of them. I very much doubt they would be interested in doing a full season in the premier league.
  11. We should also give a special mention to T Balfe construction for continuing there main Sponsorship support for the next 2 seasons , I hope we can do them proud.
  12. You can have (Jed Rathbone ) whoever he is Panthers will stick with Ged Rathbone thank you
  13. Great news , and agree with you about the 1st 2 above mentioned signings they were both unlucky one way and another to lose there team places and both would fit in to being strong around the showground, but one thing we must do is try selecting a team that will not be tampered with during the season apart from injuries. Statistics shows those teams that persevere with the unchanged lineups fair better than those that chop and change , Ipswich being the exception to the rule this season. Also we don't want to build a reputation for this as just maybe a lot of riders will view this as very unsettling and decide to go elsewhere . Now when are those season tickets on sale as long as it's 7 man teams and not the dreaded 6 me and the mrs want 2 please
  14. So your still angry I take it over Panthers dumping Porsing.
  15. I didn't like it when they tried it in the Elite league a few years ago and if they think it's a good idea to try it again then I would have to say that I would not be wasting my time and money on a product that I am not happy with. I don't think I would be alone either. It might cut costs down but attendances would suffer big time ,so there's nothing to gain out of it anyway.
  16. Agree with you about stability, and it did look as though Ged was going to purchase the rights of promoting from Rick Frost at one stage when he said everything was being geared up for a buyout at the end of the season however now that he's having second thoughts as things havn't gone as planned we find ourselves back in the same old situation again . Until Ged decides what his intentions are.So unfortunately it's a case of wait and see like it or like it not.
