And can you tell me the win ratio home and or away last season with a proper #1.As to me it was abysmal . It's not just about a #1 , its can they be moulded into a unit that can ride as a team , to me it's immaterial to think having an out and out #1 will be good enough to win matches if the rest are not good enough -

It's not written anywhere that we have to have an out and out #1 and it didn't help to win at home last season, much rather have an all round team -

I hope Newcastle use him too, My thinking as well and could be complemented by Jack holder at #1 and Tom Perry at 6 and picking the right #7 will be vital and I would like to see maybe Conner Mountain, Jack Smith or Tom Bacon , much rather see up and coming rider in this position than tried and tested national league riders that have been around for a while with little progress. -

Promoters were issued them over a week ago so why are fans being kept in the dark,? Looks a solid team to me only problem being averages will take this team over 40 max, maybe take out Campton and bring in Tom Perry would solve that . When new averages do come out wouldn't expect Ostergaard to be NO1 as i think he'll be around the 7.00 mark and also Hansens will have jumped up due to his final performance at Workington -
Great news welcome to the championship Workington.

Branford wouldn't qualify as a 3 pointer his average is above that. I can't answer your reasoning on Ostergaard , you will have to ask Ged that one , I would be quite happy with or without him in the team personally but I see him skippering the team next season again. -

Ostergaard will be in there and with those two at reserve you would need to give them a 1 lap start. -

You can forget about Hansen , he's signed a contract to ride in Poland in 2017 -
Shades of fuel taps maybe wink

You will have to raise the subject at your next planned candlelight supper. wink

Sorry it was a light hearted reply concerning Rye House car park not Foxall
-
But will they resurface the car park or is it going to be just the same for puddle jumpers and day (TRIPPERS)
-
It would have made more sense to put both leagues on an equal footing and rebranding them as the northern and southern leagues. Promotion and relegation just doesn't work in speedway for example would the likes of Glasgow Edinburgh Workington Newcastle Berwick and Redcar be interested in being elevated with all the extra wages and travelling expenses to fork out for a league that is mainly southern based

Have you not forgot Simon Lambert's home form from last season and how they seriously missed him when he got injured . Simon is a great guy and would be one of the first riders I would sign for next season. -

It's easy for us all to find fault and have a good old moan about a sport that appears to be dying on it's feet , but nobody seems to have the answer to the problems that speedway is faced with, year on year we still are contesting the same problems, living in hope that BSPA will eventually come up with something that will revolutionary remedy improving the image whilst cutting costs without devaluing the standards of racing thus improving crowd levels. It will take a genius to sort out a solution , sadly I don't see it ever happening and we are faced with a watering down of the product whilst admission will eventually rise as attendances drop. Just can't see a bright light shining anywhere. Sad but that's how I see it. -

I think they have maybe worked on that one, as it makes sense to be in with the chance with more options to choose from. -
Yes I agree I had already put it to bed in my last post. Both parties better off without each other.
-
Yes your probably right ,that's why Ged got disillusioned with him and replaced him . IMO best solution for both parties
