  1. Berge would be a good signing but I would imagine Sheffield will fight tooth and nail to keep him, he has looked really good in meetings at the showground and looked quite fast especially when leading from the tapes ,not so sure on his ability to come from the back though. His father was pretty good as well around the showground 5'60 X 1,4 = 7.84 even with a brit reduction not worth the gamble. Not riding in the premier league in 2016 could cost him a chance in the championship in 2017 IMO
  2. Carl does a lot of work for Ged behind the scenes , he hasn't taken a penny in travelling costs all season and is Peterborough through and through. So where are you going to find a manager with those qualities who can do any better. I think Carl should be given the chance to prove he can make a good job of team management and it doesn't just happen you have to work at it.
  3. Sorry I wasn't intended for you it was intended for Steve Hone.
  4. Exactly , hope we are not going down that route again , seem to remember you was on his case towards the end of last season . So what's your grouse with Carl then.
  5. No thanks, he looked awful when he rode the showground for Newcastle in 2016
  6. Where do Panthers feature in your ridiculess comment or have you forgot to take your medication again.
  7. When did Clegg have anything like a decent meeting at the showground.
  8. Never rode Peterborough either and that was when he was in the team but he knows the shortest way to safety fence on the final bend rather well.
  9. Maybe , I know there was an issue with him turning up with 1/2 or 1 and 1/2 bikes , but I did think he was worth a bit longer but the carrot of Craig Cook proved too tempting. we strengthened up the top end and severely weakened the bottom end coupled with Simon Lamberts injury proved too much and although they bolstered up with K.Bjerre and A.Thomsen the bottom three were so poor only 1 of the top 4 had to fail and we would be in trouble and that's just what happened
  10. Hit the nail on the head there. As much as I liked Craig Cook in the team, hind sight tells me if we had left the 7 together who started the season we would have done much better and easily qualified for the playoffs .
  11. Would love to see him back if his average fits within the team , very unlucky to be replaced in IMO.
  12. Should have known better thought it was reference to a rider , my apologies Big Cat Diary. Do I detect a bit of jealousy creeping in already , never mind we'll make sure there's 7 left for Worky
  13. Have to agree with you I also think you should stick with him. Also hope he can build on his 2016 average.
