Can't you take a beating gracefully , its not all about winning but how you play the game. I gather Ulrich Ostergaard is not on your xmas card list this anymore. -

Why is that then because that rule didn't apply to Douglas at Scunthorpe on Sunday. -
You mention the Lakeside / Arena Essex stadium as one you enjoyed spectating at says all we need to know ,personally I dislike everything about the stadium no seating , cow shed cover standing arrangement together with a poor shaped sloping track that I've always been happy to give a miss but if it's to you're liking well I wish good luck.

Totally agree with your comment ,Ostergaard was slightly in front of Busch at the time so Ostergaard was defending his position i'd rather see him do that than just move over and let the opposition pass And your correct a couple of the Redcar riders were not shy in putting themselves about. -

And you think he's the only rider who does this. -

Like yourself I didn't think there was anything controversial other than the hand bags you mentioned also thought there was some excellent racing between both sides . -

According to the Redcar website there report say's it was a very controversial meeting and suggesting a Panthers rider in 1 race crossed the centre green on his way to the start line and everybody in the stadium saw it apart from the referee . Well I for one never saw it just wondered if anyone else did there was no mention of which heat it was other than it being a Panthers rider and there is no mention of it on speedway updates heat by heat details. -

We are the underdogs for sure can't see us getting anything out of this meeting but I live in hope they put up a better display than Berwick had to offer and also think we will also struggle to get anything out of the return meeting on Bank holiday Monday. -

I will be surprised if a ten point lead will be enough as we have not got the strength at the top end of the team , Hansen doesn't ride well away from home at most tracks . It will take a monumental effort from Ostergaard , Holder to prove himself to be a useful NO1 and another top scoring reserve performance from Wilson Dean as well as a steady 7 or 8 point score from Starke as I don't see many points coming from Lambert , Hansen and Bacon . -
Championship Admission Costs.
New era Panthers replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Scunthorpe & Workington should be commended for charging a realistic price for a programme . I would much prefer a no frills race card included within the admission cost personally. £2 to £3 for a programme is nothing short of a rip off . -

It was £2 , I don't believe in this day and age there would be a 50% price reduction. -
Who is going to gamble many thousands to put Brandon in racing order for a stadium that has 2 years operating before they close it down again , Brandon stadium is finished IMO, and if they want to carry on running then they will have to find a new site that has a longer shelf life than 2 years. If your guess is correct then Coventry speedway is finished sadly.

He also lent the awol flop Holub an engine last season , when many wouldn't and shouldn't have bothered. Simon Lambert is Peterborough through and through and an excellent team man who always gives 100% effort . -

You have made this plainly obvious several times , so for the record like lots of other Panthers fans i'm very pleased they did, and i'm also pleased that your good self had nothing to do with the signing of riders. Now is the time to get behind the riders and not slag them off after just one meeting.
