  1. Can't see where the improvement would come with those three. In fact I think it would substantially weaken the team . Tungate has the potential to up is average , Berge I really wouldn't want to take the risk on , and Zac W i dont think would be any better than Tom Bacon who is now showing definite signs of improvement and we should without hesitation stick by him and if we don't I;m quite sure there will be plenty of teams just waiting for the chance to jump in and sign him and Lambert at reserve I would expect a big improvement from him.
  2. Have to agree , there's no point in replacing riders with others that will fare no better or they maybe even worse. If we can't sign riders who will improve the team then we might as well stick with what we've already got.
  3. I wouldn't bother with him never seems to settle down anywhere for long.
  4. Panthers , have to race Workington x2 , Glasgow x2, Sheffield x2 Newcastle x1 Scunthorpe x1 Berwick x1 Ipswich x1 Redcar x1 which are all planned fixtures. They also have to arrange Edinburgh x1 Redcar x1 and Berwick x1 and they also have to arrange ko cup v Scunthorpe total of 15 home fixtures still to race.
  5. I am well aware of those situations thank you and I don't think it is nice getting personal with one fellow Panther fan just because I disagree with running a home meeting which could have resulted with 3 team members missing.
  6. I'm still 100% behind Ged and back him all the way, just because I disagree with a fixture clash of riders doesn't mean I've changed my opinion of him. Generally Ged has done an excellent job.
  7. No I have not, but I do pay to watch a Panthers representative team, not a patched up team of misfits it's bad enough when you have to replace riders through injuries but this bank holiday situation could and should have been avoided and to think it's o/k and just go ahead with it doesn't sound like a club with any ambitions to me but that's o/k because i'm only Joe Public
  8. So rearrange the fixture for another day when we won't have riders missing .
  9. You can put as much spin on it as much as you like its plain bad planning thinking you can go into a home fixture with your best 3 riders missing . Which tells me all the good work and vision for the future of Peterborough speedway from the management has gone down the pan , what has happened to all that ambition.
  10. Have to say I've never felt so disillusioned about Panthers in years like I feel about this it's absolutely disrespectful to fans to think they are just going to turn up what ever the team is put out , it's just not on .
  11. Had Somerset not dropped Paul Starke it would have been 3 missing ,now where is the sense in that , just not good enough . If Ged thinks he will get a bumper crowd on Monday , I think he will get a shock . It would have been better to move the fixture forward a day.
  12. What a bonus we could be only 2 riders missing . No doubt baby Bjerre will be on hand to help us out again . Just when you think it can't get any worse . Who would plan a home fixture with the top two performers missing. Shocking planning and not what fans want to see.
  13. Next Monday's team will be interesting with Poole and Swindon having fixtures .
  14. But we know it's not going to happen as I would expect the wrong riders will be sacrificed just as it happened before. We are never going to win anything while sentiments stand in the way.
  15. Like Brady Kurtz or Reni Bach and Jake Allen to replace Ulrich Ostergaard and Kenneth Hansen.
  16. I don't see him getting anymore guest bookings anytime soon. If that's the best he could do I don't see him doubling up for Swindon much longer.
  17. Ulrich Ostergaard Panthers #2 heatleader has now won 1 race out of his last 15 rides = a malfunction in the engine room .
  18. Yes so could I, personally I would stick with the lad, he's only going to get better and he certainly hasn't disgraced himself , it would be madness to part with him now other clubs would be only to glad to accommodate him . I hope he does not pay for others under par performances
  19. Panthers going for the wooden spoon it's our best hope of winning something.
  20. Sorry for Simon always seems to get the wrong kind of breaks, get well soon mate.
