Panthers Lodge Protest
New era Panthers replied to Lukas's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sounds as if the BSPA are more in the dark than the supporters who try to understand the rules that have been created or not as the case may be , perhaps fans should send in multiple choice answers to the BSPA to establish the outcome of any disputes. -
Gosh Richard Hall fixed up already?

Yes I agree but the evidence seems a bit flimsy. -

Sounds like it's dead in the water to me and not even got off the ground if that makes any sense. -

So why are you moaning about it , if he's so good get your Laura to sign him up as you'll need a replacement for Sarg. Now there's a bonus for you. -

I think it was a bit of a red herring to be honest. -

Surely you mean it's a pity he's not in Panthers team to face Ipswich on Sunday. -

Perhaps he conned Peterborough by telling them about his superior equipment that he obviously hadn't got . Yes it does seem a bit underhand to promise team place is secure and next day it's not , but there is always 2 sides to a story and everybody is listening to 1at the moment. -

What happened to his far superior equipment that he already had prepared for racing before Panthers signed him, and now it's revealed he's just purchased a new engine , well if it's as good as the one he's been riding he will still need a 15 metre start and would be lucky to hang on to finishing in third place. He should have bought new engine prior to signing not when the horse has bolted. Without being disrespectful I think it's fair to say his performances have been well below what is expected of him he's been very poor and fail to see that he didn't see this coming to an end. I wish him good luck for the future . -

You should try going round Peterborough town centre , can't understand a word there saying it's full of eastern Europeans especially outside the job centre on benefits day. -

Well he's been doing it very well so far , I don't think Witches supporters complained when he guested for your side earlier on this season and nor did Sheffield and Newcastle. -

I know it would better if he was in our side rather than him ride against us at reserve , he also has 2 Poole team mates at Peterborough , Hopefully they may be able to persuade him that it would be a good choice. -
Your Comets lost to the better team over two legs . there was no guarantee that you would have got the 4-2 in heat 15 even if Cookie had made it to the gate on time , why cant you accept defeat gracefully, with the 16 point lead you had in the first leg you should have been able to defend it but your riders didn't produce the goods when it mattered most. Remember what I said about saving your sympathy for your own team.

Nice to hear some friendly comments about EWR and its helpful people , if only this could be repeated on tracks nationwide.

Do I suspect a protest here , I can remember a few years ago when Panthers knocked out Ipswich in the k/o cup only to be denied by a bit of gamesmanship from John Louis , who protested that Lee Lanham was denied entry to the track with gates closed to track within 2 minute time allowance , he was the only other rider that Witches could have used in this heat but he hadn't had a good night and his bikes were packed in his van ready to leave and it was assumed he would take no further part in the meeting and there was no way with in minute or so remaining that he would have made it on track . John Louis appealed on the grounds that his rider was denied entry to the track and won his appeal and that was pure gamesmanship.

I think some extra coaching might be valuable for him he is improving steadily but yes he does stay on the white line too much, my concern is more with what we can do to get Richard Hall in the points , he's obviously trying but getting nowhere fast at the moment is it engines , poor set up or some thing else . Ged has said his equipment was superior to all the other riders available at the time of signing him , So what can we do for to get him in the points.
