Agree you couldn't make it up, I think too many of the BSPA committee are spending too much time watching Eastenders. I'm glad common sense has at last prevailed and they have now reached the correct decision after the first two shocking attempts . -
Until it goes ** up . You may be able to keep him for next season if you are lucky, as can't see another club coming in for him with a 5 figure signing on fee.

That's a bit rich coming from a Nucasul fan the home of Mike Ashley and his zero hour contracts and his disgraceful abuse of employment history towards anybody who works for him. -

I am not a fan of the fours event by any means, but I have to say 5 riders per race was just an accident waiting to happen and I believe the riders were quite right to kick up a fuss , the BSPA committee should have known better to even suggest they ride 5 a race , but they are not putting there bodies on the line. The sport is dangerous as it is and trying to put 5 in a race is nothing but sheer stupidity. Feel sorry for anyone from Berwick who has made a hotel booking perhaps the BSPA should compensate them out of there own pockets as this has all occurred due to there inept actions. -
Very true.
-
Admitted his self it's not one of his favourite tracks.
-
I think the real Mrs Brown would say " that's nice now feck off ". Come on honestly if he got to NO1 do you believe Scunthorpe would be any better than what they've been doing already.
-
If that's there attitude then they might as well have kept Wilkinson , the way he's been riding lately he would cost very little. I think they need a new NO1 to freshen things up and hope it attracts better support , but like you not sure if they are willing to shell out for a rider of that calibre.
-
He's Polish so no chance of him riding at Scunthorpe especially as it's a Sunday track.
-
I think Scunthorpe need a NO1 Nicholls would be ideal IMO
-
Scott Nicholls maybe ?

Sgb Championship Best Pairs 2017
New era Panthers replied to idh's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
With the backlog of fixtures as they are at the moment , it maybe best to cancel the event for this year rather than run at any track on an off peak day/ night which could incur losses with low attendance and only add to congested fixture list not forgetting rider availability would be another problem as you could finish with a totally different set of riders from those originally selected. -

Yes great idea we could also incorporate it with the Christian faith weekend events and all say a nice little prayer before each race and as an added attraction we could invite the pope to be special guest of honour and get him to bless the shale. -

He looked very poor when guesting for Panthers last Friday v Sheffield , riding at NO2 scoring 1 point from 4 rides , shadow of the rider he used to be. -

So why not be honest and say look I am not riding for you under those circumstances and respectfully wish to withdraw my guest booking arrangement rather than say I am unwell or unfit to ride through illness which was a blatant lie and total disregard for the rules. Chris Holder has got a 28 day ban for withholding his services for what he believes was an unfit dangerous track , and Barker just can't be bothered to turn up and tells lies about it . Now which is the worse. -

Barker accepted the booking but had no intention of appearing and was seen by many to be at Stoke practicing and made it quite obvious that he' d stitched up Ged. This sort of thing should not be happening and is bad for the image of the sport. Barker should receive a ban for this in my opinion. -

Seems like leaving Workington has worked wonders for him as I previously suggested to you might be the case. -

So what is wrong with changing the day if it means you can track you're full side, as there are so many riders doubling up it seems the only way forward at the moment, not cheating is it just trying to put recognised riders in you're team as opposed to guest riders.
