New era Panthers

What do you expect from a team and management with a total lack of ambition, I told you previously they would get trounced.

What would you know about it, you can't even get the days right when Panthers are racing.

But will that filthy lucre be a benefit as some fans will take exception and not bother turning up for meetings , after the management have given up on this season and some fans I am sure will feel the same. Shoddy management in my opinion.

The truth is Ged has put Poland and Holders wishes above what Panthers supporters wanted.

Save your money Witches have something to fight for, Panthers have given up and it's more like a challenge match to them. So it's not worth bothering with unless you like seeing a humiliating defeat of a team just going through the motions .

And as soon as they become anything like the real deal they will be whisked away and never to be seen again at championship level . No thanks the more I hear the less interested I am becoming .

I'm intrigued that Ged thinks it's a good deal all round for all 3 parties , where are Panthers going to benefit out of this is beyond belief . If Panthers ride on Sunday's in 2018 surely he will be riding in Poland anyway . The only benefit for Panthers fans is we wont have to put up with him begging to be released so he can sod off to Poland. As far as i'm concerned he's not the model professional that Ged seems to think he is or he would have honoured is contract . For me the bloke is a user Ged might want him back but I think the fans will have a different view and would rather see a rider who is committed to the club .

I certainly wont bother going to watch a team away where the management have given up the ghost of any chance in the play offs makes it less than a competitive meeting with riders not giving 100% to the club doesn't appeal to me in the least, if rider's can't be bothered to ride in home meetings and think it is o/k to swan off to Poland at the drop of a hat why should I be bothered travelling 100 miles to watch them . Easy Witches win on the cards. As it's not just riders lacking but management as well.

Spot on if not he will be carrying a big flag . Fantastic holiday , winter time in Australia but much better than the weather here by all accounts able to go out and about every day in a t/shirt sunshine every day with temps upto 32degees . Expected to come home to rain clouds but not the sort of clouds that have travelled over the showground , I am very disappointed in that respect but it is what it is so it's either like it or lump it.

Including your more often than not deluded comments. NOT HAPPY about it at all, fans have been let down badly, surprised Ged has sunk to this level , no one rider is bigger than the club. Ged should have insisted he fulfils his agreement , and should he have still gone to Poland without his blessing then Ged should have showed him the door, nice to know that Holder is thanking Ged for giving him the opportunity to say sod the Panthers fans your my third choice . This season was my first as a season ticket holder but I certainly wont be renewing for next year and like a good season ticket holder I will be fulfilling all the remaining home meetings as I have already paid for them but next year I will be picking meetings out I want to go to and if the don't care if you ride here or abroad attitude is applied then I think my money will be best used somewhere else. Quite frankly I am appalled and disgusted at Geds attitude towards all of this and just another nail in the sport becoming a complete laughing stock.

You wish . Anyway you can't go Newcastle speedway needs you mate. I will miss my speedway while i'm away but will be back in plenty of time for Panthers v Diamonds on 30th August

I think we are getting at cross purposes here I was referring to an incident at the showground a few years back involving Rory Schlein who in my opinion was wrongly excluded whilst leading a race with no rider within a distance for being out of control.

But if he was behind the other 3 riders I bet the referee wouldn't have excluded him for dangerous riding or being out of control.

Volunteers are the salt of the earth as far as i'm concerned without them there would be no speedway free entry or not.

Suppose you are unfortunate enough to get more injuries is Vatcher going to make a decision for your Bandits or is it possible to run for 15 heats with 4 or 5 rider team. Total stupidity from the governing body , under the circumstances special dispensation should be applied .

You randy little rascal. Now that's what I call box office Hard to comment on without knowing full reasons, but would have thought as long as the rider concerned has met the right criteria, it shouldn't cause a problem . Surely an injury replacement should be allowed .

A few years back I saw Rory Schlein excluded from a race at the showground whilst riding for Panthers for being out of control , he was leading the race going in the deep around the boards nobody was anywhere near him , never been able to fathom that one out ,so you never know

Who I have great respect for and he lives that close to me it's almost as quick to walk there as opposed to picking up the telephone.
