  1. All i can say is well done Sheffield but what a poor lack lustre performance from Glasgow , I would have expected there top 3 to perform a lot better than that and at least make a fight of it. Now the title is yours too lose.
  2. Don't worry I doubt he will want to be at Workington next season anyway but I bet it will be on the cards he'll be Glasgow's NO6 next season.
  3. Sheffield have a very good team IMO , but come on now give the opposition some credit , I think you have a very one sided view and usually these sort of people set themselves up to be knocked down .Personally I see Sheffield winning the first leg comfortably but 58 -34 I believe is just wishful thinking
  4. Time for Workington fans to get behind him and give him some support instead of abuse . I'm sure he or any rider does not ride badly on purpose as they would be earning very little money . It's obvious his confidence has gone and the only way to get him out of this is to show him your support and give the bloke some encouragement . James has put is hands up and admits things are not going right for him and I admire his honesty for this , we all know he can do much better than what he has been performing but continually barracking him will not help him Workington fans it's time to show a little compassion encouragement.
  5. The track was unsafe , fit to ride but not fit to race Common sense decision was made . I don't want to see riders putting there selves on the line to get injuries in those circumstances.
  6. It was abandoned after heat5 when the heavens opened up after an heroic attempt to get the track back to racing order even then the inside of the third bend had about 10 to 15 metres of sludge on it ,
  7. Well done Panthers, it may seem to some that this is a hollow victory considering Glasgow's injury problems but with the amount of 5hit that's been thrown our way in recent weeks an away victory is just the tonic they needed to lift them for the k/o cup 2nd leg at Scunthorpe next friday
  8. Why should he ,he's not responsible to you or anybody else . Try asking the ACU or BSPA
  9. Maybe every side should have a set quota of matches per month with early season a vital time and not for meaningless meetings . Perhaps it would be a good idea to start the season with the knock cup and then straight on to league racing, all meetings should maybe scheduled to take place by mid august thus leaving 2 weeks to allow for postponements to be reorganised , any team's that don't complete there fixtures by the end of August by means of fines for non-compliance thus making teams much keener to fit in rearrangements .
  10. So why are you so hell bent on Chris Harris getting a28 day ban when you have nothing to say about Steve Boxall who failed to turn up guesting for Peterborough at Workington and Ben Barker who gave Peterborough very short notice at Glasgow he was unfit to ride yet got his arse down to Stoke practicing on the very same night admitting afterwards that he'd stitched Peterborough up to help Redcar's chances of getting into the play offs shouldn't those 2 be banned also then or is that o/k.
  11. Agree common sense was used to make that ruling but it's still not in the rulebook.
  12. You will struggle with that i'm afraid , it's like dealing with a secret society at governing body level , no names and nobody to take the blame.
  13. He didn't say that he shouldn't be banned I will hold my hand up to that but he does agree that Chris Harris had no choice about where he was riding which to me would be a bit hard to ban him for 28 days as he was not at fault as I have already stated the fault is the making of whoever sanctioned the facility not the rider or Peterborough who have not broken any rule here as the facility was obviously sanctioned rightly or wrongly . Agreed there are a lot of things that are not going correctly by the rules , as an example the Redcar v Glasgow A fixture result , where in the rules does it suggest a meeting can be called of after 9 races and the result stands or awarded.
  14. Oh dear now your saying he should be banned and yet on the P/boro v W/ton thread you are saying he shouldn't make your mind up and send your protest to the governing body which ever one you choose, that's where the problem is , remember the referee allowed this to happen because he must have scrutinised the line ups prior to the match starting and didn't see anything wrong .
  15. So given that the referee allowed this and didn't have a problem with it , if it was wrong you tell why he allowed this to happen.
