Ged should pay up, he took the money and knew it was against the rules. I would ban Holder as he broke his contract and should be punished for it regardless of being told he could go. SCB should also interview Matt Ford as he is also involved in this. It was supposed to be a good deal for all parties involved. -

The problem is where do you find such people with the financial backing ,as for Hansen really wasn't doing the business and looked a shadow of the rider who guested for us on a few occasions the previous season. -
Well done Tigers ,home track or not you have to be in it to win it

After the Holdergate situation I would like a rule brought in to instantly ban any rider from racing in Britain riding abroad when he has an obligation to his own British club regardless of promoter decision and made to adhere to the contract they signed prior to the start of the season. We shouldn't be letting the Poles dictate to us and it would also put an end to the temptation should any other promoter try to do it

Just read the report on SGB website Ged fined the same amount as what he received from Poland . I hold my hands up and have to say he has got what he deserves It's no good complaining about the size of the fine , he has broken the rules and deserves his punishment . My main concern is where does this leave Panthers fans who put quite a lot of money up front for the club to survive should Ged refuse to pay the fine as the showground will not deal with any other would be promoter. -

It's a well known fact that Chapman has little time for Ged and was just waiting for this opportunity. I agree that Ged is the solely to blame for this but to put such a high price on the penalties involved is nothing short of ridiculous . Yes he should be punished for what he has done but £40,000+ . If it was football or another high profile sport yes but this is speedway with clubs struggling to survive as it is . Yes I am angry fans put a lot of money up front for the survival of the club and at the end of the day we may lose everything . -

Believe me he was hell bent on this being severe and would have had quite a bit to say influencing the outcome. -

And another man hell bent on a punishment for Ged beyond anybody's comprehension and unrealistically above anything one would have expected and with this in mind Buster Chapman could well have drove the last nail in the coffin of Peterborough speedway . Well done Buster , Buster is a very fitting name . -
And would suit witches nicely

Shouldn't that read ( it's cos you know I have a pretty face , baby) -
Yes I thought ref was very poor missed rolling starts for Woolley and Williamson ,and was generally slow putting riders on 2 minutes , with 5/6 races to go and less than 1/2 hour before curfew one would have thought that he would have been a bit sharper on the button, one race he actually had riders on 2 minutes with no tapes in place

For those out there that are unaware it's become quite obvious to most of us local folk that speedway life at the showground will be coming to an end within the next 2/3 years I would say at most as the showground people have sold off more land for housing not yet officially to be announced but sent out letters to the houses that already surround the showground telling them of there plans which will be officially go public next February . As the houses will close in further I can see that the only thing left will be the indoor arena which would be in the heart of it . So in one sense it would be a popular move for the EOES management that it wasn't them that was responsible for the closure of speedway. Ged has always been honest and straight with Panthers fans and I don't doubt what the showground management have told him they will not see another promoter take over and if it's not Ged then speedway will come to an premature end and will never return . We Panthers supporters are not bothered about what other speedway fans think about Ged . and are happy for him to continue but £40,000 + in fines is way above what anybody would have expected . Understandable in football but in speedway it's just not sustainable , That's Chapman's legacy for you . Now where is that transparency he was not so long ago talking about when they (BSPA/ SCB) can't even go public with the crime and punishment . I think (Buster) ought to keep away from the Peterborough area for his own safety -

Why should he not be telling the truth, he's always been open and straight with his comments perhaps that's his trouble he would be better not saying anything like some other promoters do. He confirmed tonight that the showground authorities had informed him that they had no wish to deal with any other would be promoter and if Ged doesn't run next year that will be the end of Peterborough speedway fullstop. Just another insensitive bast##d comment -

A lot of that bond money was donated by supporters to save the club from folding , so at the end of the day if Peterborough closes who are the BSPA / SCB hitting the hardest , the very same people who rallied round to save the club . It could well be the authorities that are responsible for running and organisation of the sport have shot themselves in the feet yet again with there negativity towards those that actually pay to watch and support should it be the end for Peterborough . Most sports like football , boxing , cricket rugby league/ union , tennis and many others would have made it known to the general public regarding there discipline issued within there sport BSPA / SCB stay silent what does this tell us about there credibility other than they come over as a bunch of yellow livered gutless wonders who are doing it in the best interests of the sport . Your still a nob but only a little one so we wont worry to much . -

Whilst all this has been going on the BSPA and the SCB have NOT issued any statement publicly whatsoever on the subject , haven't they got the balls or are they just trying to cover up what has happened regarding the charge and the punishment involved .IMO the least they should be doing is informing the paying public just what they have concluded , instead they would rather leave everything open to hearsay and gossip) not in my back yard syndrome , commonly known as ( NIMBYS ). I could certainly find a better name for them . -
