  1. I have never known a pre season that I have been less excited about as there are just not the right class of riders out there to be signed and for this I hold the BSPA/SRA fully responsible by barring premier league riders like Kennett and Nicholls amongst others from the championship and raising the bar to 42.50 is going to cause a division within a division maybe to the detriment of some of the clubs affected by this stupid rule.
  2. True you beat yourselves by probably trying too hard but records will show you lost over the two legs but will not show how unlucky injury wise Witches were As for Holder . he will not be back and the supporters generally don't want him back, no matter how good he is . there are principles involved here , it's a pity Holder has none.
  3. I think you may have your figures wrong last recorded average I have for Grondal is 4 .39 which would leave 13.76 Rasmus Jensen looked quite useful when last appeared at the showground and I believe he has a 6.14 average
  4. No way if he wants to hold clubs to ransom he might as well stay down under.
  5. Just hope he can kick on , he looked useful when he 1st signed for Panthers but tailed off and looked very low on confidence before he was replaced maybe at NO7 he could be very useful and build his confidence back , I hope so anyway.
  6. In the last 2 seasons he suffered two mid season serious injuries which obviously affected his performances and at reserve position he has done a brilliant job not so good when in the main body of the team that's why I said he is ( capable. ) I wouldn't be surprised if Lambert is partnered at reserve with Emil Grondal as he put on facebook he's signed for a Danish club and also a British club that will be revealed in the next few days.
  7. Not sure if Ostergaard will improve from his 7.12 average but I would say a fit Lambert at reserve is capable of adding at least a point to his 4.56 average.
  8. He was great to watch around the boards at the showground full throttle never say die all action , I would love to see him return but can't ever see that happening.
  9. Then that's a no then, 6 point limit imposed by BSPA who at the time of AGM said there was no restrictions for the championship.
  10. True if you can't keep your bike upright your going to go down.
  11. So why should those teams that have managed to get top end riders complain about those that are struggling because of a stupid restriction put on by the BSPA . What people should remember is it may be to the detriment of those teams and possibly will mean the end for certain clubs if they are not competitive as fans start dropping away .
  12. As long as the KKK authorise it you can have him.
  13. Is that an excuse , the only default was by your own riders Schlein fell and out injured all by himself, King fell after being hit by his own team mate Greaves.
  14. I know it's asking a lot but we can always wait and see if the BSPA see some sense and reverse there inane decision to ban riders like Nicholls and Kennett from entering the championship .Perhaps a joint delegation of affected promoters should get together and put there case to the BSPA /SCB.
  15. And get hammered in heats 13 &15 ,just when you're thinking you may be in with a chance by keeping it close with 3 races to go. Then you get blown out of site.
  16. Rathbone was suspended for being open , honest and telling the truth , Godfrey doesn't want to tell the truth , doesn't pay to be honest does it.
  17. Why is it utter rubbish Ged is open and honest can't say the same about Godfrey.
  18. Peterborough don't and won't pay signing on fees. Ged Rathbone has stated this many times.
  19. Problem is those possible double uppers you are talking about if they average over 6 points in the premier league and don't have a championship average from 2017 , then they are not allowed in championship for 2018. So there very few potential heat leaders around that would be available and for Newcastle and Peterborough being Sunday tracks it makes it even harder to get top end riders.
  20. Probably chased after the ref on Godfrey's advice.
  21. That's what the BSPA have created but they can't see any further than the teams they represent.
