  1. I really don't think we want to go down that route again now do we .
  2. True , but would fans accept this , the 25% with a 2 pointer at NO1 is very worrying IMO. Poor team building yet again .
  3. I wouldn't get too enthusiastic about it either , I think we are looking at a summer of discontent , wouldn't be surprised if J. Holder is back as NO1 and maybe they are waiting to get around his Polish fixture schedule, just a guess not sure it would be a popular decision though with fans but they probably have very little choice as things stand.
  4. Well I know there is no way I could feel enthusiastic about those signed riders so far , a big hitter NO1 might make them more competitive , but still not good enough to win anything.
  5. Already we have too many old faces with little or no improvement in them , difficult to see a fruitful season ahead without a big hitter at NO1. No disrespects to Ulrich Ostergaard but he's definitely not a NO1
  6. I get feeling that's about right , hence the silence .
  7. I've given up trying to work out where the 2 riders are going to come from or if it's going to be strength In depth or a big hitter and a low average rider personally I would prefer a big hitter at NO1 and possibly fit in Connor Mountain at reserve. Team building is not Panthers strongest point and I can see mid season changes will be part of the business yet again , just wish management tried filling the top end before filling the bottom end of the team .
  8. He'd look good on a wanted poster ,although I can't think who would want him.
  9. Are we talking about the written down rules , unwritten rules or the invisible rules that are there for the benefit of certain promoters.
  10. Agree, but wish him all the best at Berwick. Yes looking like it's going to be a struggle to bring in any decent rider with rules standing as they are. All part of the Chapman revenge legacy I suspect.
  11. Without a top class NO1 the riders signed so far only convince me they are in for a battering on a regular basis and I doubt attendances would hold up for more than a few meetings , sods law comes to mind, run at your peril and be massively out of pocket or not run at all put the license on ice for 12 months.
  12. Sunday racing is the biggest problem for riders signing for Panthers , we need to have midweek racing but then not enough turn up to watch..
  13. If they are not competitive then there is absolutely no point running.
  14. At this rate we will be unable to put out a competitive side and maybe time to think of pulling out of the championship and putting the license on ice for 12 months , who wants to see there team being thrashed most weeks all because the bloody minded BSPA , can't see the problem they have made with there inane decisions.
  15. Nothing surprises me about the shambles the BSPA are creating , transparency Chapman promised, well that soon fell by the wayside .
  16. I wonder what the problem is now, just seems after a while you get a common sense decision and then they go and complicate it again. Then they can't understand why people are turning there backs on speedway. If the BSPA have a problem with this then I think it's only fair to let the fans who pay to watch the sport know just what is going on .
  17. Yes better choice than Jacobs but suspect he will be at Edinburgh. All depends on what points are left .
  18. Bad luck then because it's 1.3 conversion for all Championship teams for 2018, looks as though you're going to have to a make a change. I can't see how Clegg would get 2.5 reduction either.
  19. If you want proof check out history 2014 Panthers website, Gate and go Joe lasted 19 matches and his most recent average is not much better, OK when he gated but not so good when he didn't Branford would be a better choice if we need someone around that average if available IMO.
  20. He was given the chance before at reserve when Horton was Promoter and didn't do the business well enough then so what makes you think he would do any better than Grondal now . Baldy is beefing him up but Ipswich don't rate him too highly or they might have considered signing him themselves.
  21. So you should, he may well come back to haunt and taunt you , knock him at your will, while your superstars were busy falling off Scott put in some steady races not spectacular by any means . Reminds me of the hare and the tortoise
