  1. Chapman and anything to do with Peterborough , come on you should know better than that.
  2. Under the circumstances that Peterborough are in, with not being able to put out a competitive side maybe they should withdraw from the league and put the license on ice for a year
  3. In a nutshell spot on . Nothing but a pigs ear, the last sentence tells everything , they should have expected this outcome, now lets see the plan B if it exists.
  4. No doubt Jed will be using the same solicitors who have already put one over BSPA/SCB recently .
  5. It started off o/k but trying to understand the last bit looks like you've knocked over you're scrabble board.
  6. Not to worry we have a plan B according to Carl Johnson . Now this will be very interesting trying to fill 2 team places with 13.76 left to play with , but no need to panic say's Carl.
  7. They don't fit 0,01 over the limit That's allowing for 2.5% British reduction and not entirely sure he's entitled to that.
  8. No sour grapes from me for moving it to Redcar , I am not a great lover of the fours event at the best of times and last season I arranged my holiday to Australia coincide with the tournemont , it 'was the only meeting I missed and still managed to get back for the next home meeting against Newcastle. Good luck to Redcar and I hope they make a success of it .
  9. The reason it's not at the showground is because Jed Rathbone told the BSPA to stick it where the sun doesn't shine in response to the harsh fine originally imposed on him for releasing Jack Holder to ride in Poland.
  10. Max is very poor around the showground with a 4.15 average take away 2.5 % would make his average 4.04 , 625 which is classed as4.05 and with Nicholls on 9,72 that would be 0,01 over 42.50 limit so no great loss and glad to dodge a bullet I hope he gets fixed up with a team place maybe Newcastle would suit him better.
  11. Problem is there is very little talent left on the shelf to pick from plan A is a mess already .
  12. I just checked back on the above mentioned meeting and to be honest with you it was a pretty poor class of riders on show you should take a look back at them and note how many are going to be riding in the championship in 2018 . I would say with those on display he done just about what would have been expected of him . Granted he may have improved since then , I have seen him race around the showground in a couple of races and I didn't see anything about him that made him look anything like the standard required , is he worth a gamble that I'm not sure about but having a 4 point average would save the managements embarrassment for team building purposes . I would rather they gave #7 to Tom Bacon with a 2.60 average who is British .
  13. With Panthers choice of team selection so far, anything is possible.
  14. No complaints about the possibility of signing Tom Bacon he has improvement in him, it's the whole balance of the side in general which is wrong , even a schoolboy could get nearer to 42.50 than what is anticipated , I can see a few home defeats and some away thrashings on the cards with the proposed septet and by the time they are able to make any further changes it will be too late.
  15. I have no doubt Scotty would do well if signed and also know he would have to work miracles to maintain a 9.72 average what bothers me is the long tail of under achievers Panthers have got , I don't want to see a one man show , what I want to see is a team that can compete. This is a pigs ear of a team.
  16. If that's the case its a pi55 poor attempt at team building to end team total at 41.06 = minus 1.44
  17. Is this a guess or have you got inside information, as there is nothing on any websites at the moment.
  18. Maybe if Lambert was starting off as a reserve I could see him upping his average by a point , but it looks like he will probably start at #2 . So like yourself I can't see where an improvement in any of the 5 already signed is going to come from which also may include the final 2 signed .Bearing in mind if we should sign Nicholls, who would expect him to carry his average of 9.72 through the season or add anything to it. That's why I think if this is plan A , then when new averages are issued look out for plan B to kick in. Never have I felt so underwhelmed or been less enthusiastic about the start of a new season.
