  1. That depends on which BWD turns up , we are well aware of what he is capable of . on his day he rides the showground very well , on other days he can be hit and miss.
  2. Yes he's ok 5 days after his spill at Berwick rode away at Sheffield but along with Grondal had to miss the meeting at Edinburgh due Danish commitments.
  3. I think enough said on this subject we should give BWD the benefit of the doubt and see how he pans out over the season as a whole.
  4. I believe Konopka started his British career with Redcar and after being dropped moved on to Peterborough mid season . Seemed a very sociable young man always got time to talk to fans , a 100% trier who would go and guest for any team at the drop of a hat just to earn some money. What a lot of fans didn't know is he would go without food for 2/3 days so he could spend money on equipment . I honestly think on good equipment and a reasonable sponsorship deal this lad could advance and the main reason he didn't previously was his sub standard equipment
  5. He managed to take 6 rides so it must have been a very minor injury .
  6. He's guesting in place of Robert Lambert at Leicester tonight for Kings Lynn . Lambert's flight with Ryanair was cancelled.
  7. Liverpool beat Manchester City 3 0 but it doesn't make them league champions
  8. Panthers used r/ r for him in the B meeting and strangely enough in the A meeting Ashley Morris guested for him
  9. As you've answered your own question there's no need for me to answer back really but I was only stating maybe he's has a minor injury and should be o/k come Monday Getting a bit touchy I believe.
  10. No doubt he will be o/k to ride for Somerset at Rye House on Monday night.
  11. Lambert and Bacon on the road is a major concern, at the showground Lambert is fine but I'm not convinced by Bacon home or away yet, but I hope he proves me wrong otherwise we are going to be very suspect at reserve which could cost us dearly as I can't see either of them rising enough up the averages to the top 5 and they are likely to remain at reserve all season.
  12. That figures as there is very little alternative for guest riders with 10 championship teams in action.
  13. It's called BSPA/ SCB transparency I believe. What a shocker here we are 4/5 weeks into the season and still nobody knows what the rules are regarding averages and the championship shield is so ill thought out it's a total shambles.
  14. Yes and sponsored by the BSPA by the looks of the turn around on greensheet averages.
  15. Ostergraard has declared himself fit to ride at Sheffield Thursday night but both him and Grondal will be missing the Friday meeting at Edinburgh due to Danish commitment's . With Newcastle the only championship team not riding Friday night it's going to leave very little choice on guest riders . Maybe best to go with R/R for Ostergaard and bring in Ashley Morris to replace Grondal .
  16. New averages are out then , I've tried bspa site for new greensheet averages but all I seem to get is a blank screen , any ideas ?.
  17. I believe this was allowed because he is British , and bspa bowed down on advice of SCB after pressure was put on them with the threat of barristers being involved and a possible expensive court case . Personally I think the common sense solution would be all riders should have the chance to ride in both divisions as long as the team max allowance is adhered to
  18. Bjerre and Hougaard both averaged over 6 in the premier league in 2017 so wouldn't be allowed.
