  1. From you it's just a pinch of salt , we've grown to expect it from you and if the sarcasm stops we will wonder if you are o/k or not.
  2. Yes he can provided his 5.04 average fits withjin the 42.50 limit and with Perks riding at NO;2 his average should drop enough to help make this happen remember we are 1.99 under the limit anyway. As such he would not be replacing Bacon but would be replacing Perks who is a temp on a 28 day deal then Perks would be able to replace Bacon as long as the team total doesn't exceed 42.50 limit
  3. If Shanes becomes available and is willing to fight for a regular team place when Grondal returns and knowing he or Perks will be replaced then I would say go for it and bring in Shanes at the expense of Tom Bacon otherwise it's got to be as you were.
  4. Just maybe we might want to keep Perks and if that should be the case knowing it would be a short term signing do you think Shanes would want to sign for Panthers when he could get a full time position somewhere else.
  5. That's your opinion , have you seen Grondal racing this year, his average is over five and a half riding at no;2 Shanes has had the luxury of riding at reserve and struggling to achieve 4 point average
  6. What mean is Neil Watson knows the rules not as you put it as average fiddles.
  7. But none of the 3 of them are an improvement on Grondal who I think is worth waiting for.
  8. Quality riders are in short supply , you only have to ask Newcastle, Tigers would mad to ditch Lasse and i'm pretty sure he would very quickly be snapped up elsewhere.
  9. I thought the same myself none of them are hardly box office, definitely not worth pushing the boat out for.
  10. I hope you've got a extra large back garden then.
  11. Can't see where Sheffield will be releasing any of those riders as Psycho 3a says on Sheffield thread they are already over the 42'50 limit , so it will be difficult
  12. I think the only to go is to persevere with Bacon until new averages come out and Grondal is fit again then Perks would comfortably fit in at #7 as Perk's averages should drop enough to cover this . I know we have important fixtures immediately ahead and ideally we need to replace Tom Bacon , Try as he might the lad is just not cutting it at this level . If we brought in one of those 4 options you've mentioned now then more than likely we wouldn't be able to fit Grondal back in once fit.
  13. Todays meeting at the showground was the best this season by far , close racing thrills and spills plenty of overtaking and a tight scoreline for most of the meeting , great stuff .
  14. I take it you never saw Jason Crump, Ryan Sullivan Sam Tesar amongst the many others that have graced the showground who were all far superior to MJJ . Who I may add IMO was rather irregular as I recall.
  15. I believe we need to beat Ipswich a week on Sunday to qualify but not absolutely sure on how it all pans out. Great rider that guy Klindt villain last week hero tonight , that's the problem with him you never know what you're getting. Another Jenga type puzzle.
  16. Agreed , not bad for a patched up team. Well done Panthers.
  17. Lucas did put on the end of his post ( somewhat), I understand what he means and i'm sure you do. 1. 99 under the 42.50 max team limit will leave plenty of scope should Panthers wish to re-declare
  18. Welcome to the Panthers lair Ellis , looks like a good signing under the circumstances , just wonder if he's we will be match fit for Sunday , surprised that no team has taken a chance with him after looking at what he achieved last season and he's British and still only 21.
  19. I agree wholeheartedly, Uluru, and I have to admit that I am embarassed and totally mystified as to why he has been cut after his simply stunning contribution to the cause in 2017. Has someone at the top forgotten how, particularly at the beginning of the campaign, Ellis was weighing in with huge double-figure scores almost everywhere he went and, along with Barker and Garrity, was the backbone of the team. Without those contributions we would surely have not gone on to enjoy sucha successful season. Sounds a bit like back to the future.
  20. Have you any idea of his previous average riding in the once premier league , I believe maybe his last club in the U/K was Berwick other than that I know very little of him .
