  1. If showground management can't arrange catering facilities then they should at least give speedway promotion the chance to arrange something , I know its not the fault of speedway management but they I am sure would do a better job if given the chance , it's not ideal for visiting fans who would normally expect to be able to purchase refreshments
  2. Looks like it could be a good signing for both parties IMO.
  3. Thank you for a sensible answer, that was all I asked for.
  4. That's why asked the question , do try and keep up without getting shirty.
  5. Are you sure that you're an Ipswich supporter , can't see that happening to be honest.
  6. So just what is the problem with the fixtures you've got, as I haven't seen anything publicised anywhere else apart from this forum. All I know is Workington applied to change there raceday from Saturday to Friday's and it was declined because Glasgow and Scunthorpe already had it agreed to switch to Friday's at the AGM of the BSPA and it was not attended by your promoter for whatever reason.
  7. Not much of a supporter if he can't be bothered then is he.
  8. It just proves they don't care about those attending speedway meetings, accept what we have to offer and don't bother complaining because although we want the rental fee you accept it on our terms or lump it seems to be the attitude from showground management, when all was needed was a respectful apology.
  9. Why, is he exclusive to Ipswich or are you just putting a marker down.
  10. I think you better keep hoping as I can't see that happening.
  11. Hansen , dodged a bullet there then . Finding someone better than Grondal wont be easy.
  12. I can't see any rider who is available better than Grondal to be honest , he was doing o/k before his accident , put on over half a point on his average and is now having a few spins in readiness for a return . For me Kennett would have been the icing on the cake but that obviously won't happen now.
  13. That sounds about right to me. Redcar's loss is Peterborough's gain. We love Ged being here despite what some outsiders think of him , he's passionate about his speedway and doing a grand job and long may it continue.
  14. Exactly all Panthers need to do is return for Grondal after Perks 28 day injury cover expires
  15. Leanback and watch him go, away from home he's doing a great job , just need to get him going better at home as he's a little streaky at the moment, but i'm well pleased for the lad that it's starting to come together.
  16. Sorry but it does matter who fills NO6 position Lambert scores well at home and Bacon is now coming up with the goods away so I would stick with them and concentrate on the 1 position we need to fill . It's a pity we have had the bad luck with Kennett's injury as that would have been the icing on the cake
  17. Can see only 1 change once Perks completes his 28 day temp position may be wrong just my feeling , I do know that Grondal has had a couple of spins in the last week or so , but assuming they went for Hougaard who would you see coming in with 3.83 average.
  18. I would expect Grondal or even Lunna to return to replace Perks.
  19. Using Jack Smith's premier league average wouldn't alter the fact his average would still be too high 2.00 x 1.3 =2'60 Danny Phillips average is 2.26 and as Scunthorpe are already over 42.50 limit they have no points to play with.
  20. Too late now, Ged offered to come on board when Brian Havelock was in charge but his offer was declined and I think he's more than happy running Peterborough even with a long round trip and we are more than happy to have him
