Maybe Glasgow have been taking advice from Rob (I didn't say that ) Godfrey.
-
So if, and I say if Glasgow have to revert back to having Worrall in there side are they going to get the best out of him under the circumstances , I have my doubts , Glasgow should have waited until it was approved by the BSPA in my opinion .

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2018
New era Panthers replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I would imagine Scunthorpe are going to change there race day back to Sundays as they think they will get a better pick of guest riders and make it easier for those teams who race on Friday's not to have fixtures put off which were agreed on before the season commenced. -
Peterborough Panthers 2018

I think Panthers will need assurances from showground management for this season , next season is a different kettle of fish but i'm sure Ged and his management team will be doing everything possible to keep Panthers running . -

Your choice unfortunately it has to be this way as we are struggling with fitting the fixtures in as it will be o/k for Panthers fans and neutral's who will come just to see some speedway , but as you are only interested watching Witches , with increase in admission charge and travelling cost to be taken into account then I suppose it's understandable, but unavoidable. -

You mean like it has worked for Swindon racing Thursday's even though premier league are only supposed to race on Monday's and Wednesday's . So yes why not. Going back to the 70's injuries were covered by R/R no guests were allowed apart from being on international duties and world championship qualifiers perhaps we need to go back to what we had then . -
It's crazy how a team from the premier league (Swindon) are allowed to ride on a night that is designed exclusively for Championship clubs and yet championship clubs are being denied the chance to ride on a night that is designed for them ,Is it any wonder that the sport is going fast forward into decline with BSPA seemingly doing absolutely nothing to try and revamp the sport Well done BSPA , I hope you feel proud of how you are running the sport because no one else outside your of closed shop think you do .

Has anyone any idea when July greensheet averages will be published as they are still showing only upto 22/6 -
Redcar have declared him to replace Busch today I believe.
-
Hard luck on the lad I do hope it's not too serious, but if you have to bring a new face to replace him perhaps you should take a gamble on Tom Brennan seems to be doing well with Eastbourne and today is his 17th birthday.

I am glad that Panthers didn't get the nod to run this meeting , not a fan of 4's never have been but wish all riders a safe passage and I hope it turns out to be a successful meeting. -
apology to workington speedway .
New era Panthers replied to jenga's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Best solution would be to bury the hatchet now and put it to bed, MR Whitehouse should use this as an example of how not to promote and must be able to take criticism as long as it is not malicious and Jenga should still be able to have his say but be very mindful of the words he uses. Workington needs Jenga as much as Jenga needs Workington -
Scorpions v Sheffield 29 June KOC 7.30
New era Panthers replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I can remember in the early 70's Workington top rider Mitch Graham guesting for and at Hull riding at NO;1 scoring 4 duckheads. had bike problems all night and was booed by disgruntled Hull fans for his efforts not surprisingly. -

Seems fair enough to me as he also gets the chance to impress any would be side looking for replacements. -
Peterborough v Lakeside 29 June
New era Panthers replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Given a bit more time i'm sure he would have been quite useful and any team looking for a rider around 4.85 average or slightly less would do well to consider him ,still only 21 and although he hasn't scored big time for Panthers he's had to ride at NO;2. Given a reserve slot elsewhere could well relaunch his career, Good luck Ellis and thanks for helping us out. -

In the history of the fours event it has never been allowed for any team to be able to use guest riders , maybe you will have to use national league riders . -

apology to workington speedway .
New era Panthers replied to jenga's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Should not be a reason for you to apologise Jenga Workington speedway should be apologising to you. For there way of trying to ban you for speaking your mind and it is only because you care and shown your passion for Workington that you have made these statements and if they can't take the criticism without banning fans then they soon will not have any fans to ban. Perhaps they should take advice from Ged how to handle criticism he took some flack last season and has come out of it o/k
