Where are you going to find the fans to bring new would be supporters when they are already declining because they don't like the said proposed package. Supporters come from past generations of supporters who introduce there family and friends.

I am sure you are correct and it wasn't a success then , this idea will just drive more people away , it's not a solution it's a call from the grim reaper.

Maybe it has something to do with completing you're official fixtures and the management don't want to put on a potentially loss making fixture.

If they use 6 man format next year I wont be at all happy, we tried this idea over a whole season a few years back in the elite league . I didn't like it then and unless they use a totally different format then I wont be wasting my money on something I found pretty boring , there will be 3 riders classed as heat leaders and 3 classed as 2nd strings with no reserves . Chapman and Godfrey can think again , taking away the traditional way of 7 rider teams which has been a constitution for 50 years plus is not the answer .

While I can see why most Panthers fans view this meeting as a waste of time I can also see it as a chance to test the water to see if it's a viable idea to move up a division for Birmingham and they must be hoping that a sizable increase in attendance turns up to watch it , sadly I can't see many Panthers supporters making the visit for what I would describe as a totally meaningless match between 2 teams that you could hardly call representative of there clubs

Just maybe if a lot of this weeks championship matches are postponed due to conditions the BSPA might consider extending the cut off date yet again , like it or like it not it must be a possibility

It will be a shame if any team fails to qualify for the top 4 in those circumstances, and one wonders have those teams concerned really put in enough effort to make sure that this fixture is completed.

I had my doubts about Jordan Stewart guesting for Panthers on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised he rode quite well scoring 5 points a win and a 2nd place from4 rides.

But not at Swindon tonight.

There is more to life than speedway or any other sport for that matter Workington is a rearranged fixture thanks to Rob Godfrey otherwise this meeting would have been completed mid August.

Apologies accepted 9 th was the original cut off date now extended to 16th , if all matches go to plan up to the 16th there will be 3 outstanding league matches that will miss the cut off date and unless they are re-arranged to take place within the next 7 days, not sure what is planned should they miss the cut off date. The matches concerned are Ipswich v Berwick which was abandoned last Thursday , Lakeside v Peterborough and Workington v Lakeside.

Absolute rubbish, check the league table to see who has completed there home fixtures on time before making false statements .
