  1. It will also be interesting as to who Panthers use as at NO 1 , should they go for Jorgensen who let Panthers down after agreeing to guest or did he have his mind changed for him , strange in a time when many riders are not getting enough bookings when a chance comes along they snap it up only then coming back and saying I cant race for you on Sunday because my main team is riding on Monday. Personally I would not use him and would much prefer a rider with a better attitude even if the rider is of a lower standard.
  2. In Worrall's 2 appearances at the showground in 2017 for Newcastle, he scored 13+1 from 5 rides and 8 from 3 in an abandoned 30 -30 draw.
  3. Ostergaard to score something like 9 points , you're having a laugh . In his last 6 matches he averages 4.62
  4. As was schlien after his bad injury when crashing for Kings Lynn but that didn't stop Ipswich signing him at the time, that was a massive gamble.
  5. How do you know if the weather will hold out this or next weekend , could we be going into November , not sure about who would be available for NO1but if it goes on much longer we will be able to get Father Christmas to make a guest appearance.
  6. Riders with the amount of experience that Pijper, MPT and Ostergaard have should not be getting caught out through track conditions , they should know how to handle it by now and react accordingly to suit those conditions , fans can make allowances for Kemp as he's very much on a learning curve , the truth is they came ill prepared and let fans down with a shoddy performance which is not the way to attract people to watch the return leg and to those who say I will not go and watch rubbish like that , if they are not bothered , then why should I go and seeing as the riders think it's of no importance and can you blame them
  7. Not the 1st proper spanking at all , in the last few weeks we have conceded 55 points at Berwick and 58 points at Workington , I just hope those responsible for this diabolical performance last night are sent packing at the end of season . Congratulations to Scunthorpe a well deserved win for a team that was willing to put themselves out against a team with lack of desire and ambition to win , Hardly the way to attract home supporters to attend the 2nd leg and that could cost the promotion immensely.
  8. But we are talking Peterborough not Workington here. When you have 2 of your senior riders who can't score more than 6 points between them , then you have no chance .Very poor show from Panthers and it certainly won't encourage attendance figures for the 2nd leg, just hope the management take it on board when selecting 2019 team . There shoddy showing at Scunthorpe will certainly make a few fans think to not bother as it appears to be well out of Panthers reach and just a formality for Scunthorpe.
  9. Tactical ploy maybe if so they really shouldn't have worried , Panthers were easy meat 2ND &3RDheat leaders managed 6 points between them, cant get much worse than that , wouldn't be surprised if they get another hammering at Rye House Saturday night, the team has had the guts ripped out of them through injuries and what's left apart from Lambert don't seem to have any guts at all
  10. Sounds like utter Tosh to me, bless him he means well just misguided.
  11. You are free to go home at any time, some of us wanted to see the whole meeting and i'm quite happy to watch the juniors as well. If you felt so irritated by it you could have left the arena anytime you wanted without jeopardising those who were willing to stay for the continuation of the meeting
  12. It will work out o/k Workington will sort them out, they are up for 3 trophy's and I don't any team stopping them from achieving it.
  13. Should Saturday's meeting at Rye house go ahead and they put a similar sort of performance then the return leg against Scunthorpe could be the last meeting this season, shocking performances from MPT and Ostergaard , well below what is expected of them just hope they take this into account when signing riders for next season simply not good enough.
  14. You are not taking into account that there was a junior match to follow after the main meeting, those lads were there right from the start of the meeting waiting eagerly for there chance to get some racing in . So well done Ged you did the right thing getting the temp lights in action and i'm sure Ged would have wanted the minimum delay for all supporters. It was unfortunate it took so long to get the lights ready so give him some credit instead of knocking him for doing the right thing for all concerned.
  15. You will not be getting Nicholls he's a Peterborough asset and he's signed on a two year contract.
  16. Wrong again , please try and keep up , it's not that hard , I didn't resort to foul mouthing even if it was in code.
  17. The date in August would not have taken place even if Peterborough had agreed to the fixture as there was already 3 championship meeting taking place that day i'm pretty sure MR Godfrey would have soon put the dampers on it'
  18. Either you've got you're wires crossed or you are very misguided What has the meeting on the supposed date in August at Lakeside got to do with yesterday's meeting in Peterborough.
