  1. £6000 he was robbed for an engine that only scores 1 point or was it that he was getting it in shape ready for his Kings Lynn meetings at the expense of Panthers scores.
  2. Shame he didn't turn up for the meeting at Scunthorpe last Friday.
  3. Don't blame Neil as he's been left in limbo the same as all the fans, it's very unfair to blame him for Ged selling up. It was always going to happen at some stage with a 360 miles round trip just for home meetings , Just a matter of when the novelty would wear to thin and with the opportunity of possibly of taking over at his home town club in the pipeline I can understand his motive, and I am grateful for him for taking the club on when nobody else seemed bothered , I just hope we can find someone to promote the club and as committed as Ged has been the past 4 years.
  4. Have you not noticed the die hards who are saying i'll be there
  5. And then goes and does something childish what 1st class idiot.
  6. Apologies for that I was getting confused with the BSPA bond
  7. Unfortunately not all fans will see it in the same light as you but what they will remember is Ged accepting £23,000 that would go a long to securing Peterborough's future, remember that was only 14 months ago.
  8. I think they've given up on getting a reasonable crowd along with everything else, i bet Ged can't wait to get the weekend over and done with along with most supporters as well
  9. I will also be there but I can't speak for others , what would you expect from Panthers supporters with little chance of a win with only 3 regular team members and the prospect of no future .
  10. If Ged thinks the attendances have been low for the last month then i think he will see a really low attendance for Saturday night , dumb move to announce he's selling up before this weekends fixtures in my opinion and with a majority alien team I seriously think a lot of fans will not bother as they feel they have been totally let down by a poor management decision of the timing of the sell off of the club.
  11. Bridge to far in my opinion . Unless someone comes in with the intention of spending a bit of money I think it's curtains.
  12. I think you have already have the answer to that before you asked the question.
  13. Your comment I could liken to a handbrake on a rowing boat.
  14. Support dropped when moving from the then, elite league to then premier league , I wouldn't think it would help dropping down to the national league and couldn't imagine it would last out a season. Just a slow agonising death.
  15. I am not so sure if there had been better media coverage of play offs / k/o cup It would have made that much difference to be honest . Looking back a few years ago at what Peter Oakes tried to do at Skegness and spent a small fortune and got absolutely nowhere makes you wonder is it worth it. The sport is dying out and trying to get new faces to come in is hard work. You only have to look how many clubs have gone to the wall over the past few years to bring this to realisation.
  16. Did he mention that his planning was for Peterborough or Redcar or anything to do with speedway.
  17. Gutted about Ged selling up but I suppose it was bound to happen at some time or other especially with all the travelling involved not will it happen but when. I am not so sure even with a new person at the helm if it could ever recover from this and i'm not so sure a lot of those who have done so much work behind the scenes , supporters club and track helpers would want to carry on either , sad times for the club it might seem like doom and gloom but that is how I see it .
  18. Then he would be wasting his time and money they're wouldn't be many fans and helpers should that happen even if he was Panthers last hope of surviving . Fans remember what he did for the club in the past and would rather see the club die gracefully
  19. I wouldn't wish him on any team let alone Panthers, one thing you're guaranteed with Mick Horton he know's how to close clubs down
