  1. I can understand the Rye House supporters being upset with the changes that have taken place , I know I would feel the same if this happened to my club. Maybe there intentions are good but they are unintentionally misguided , I have my doubts .Yes it's a new start ,but I think the new owners have gone way over the top with so many radical changes , and it's not exactly the best way to keep fans wanting to turn up week and week out and they don't seem to be endearing themselves to the people that pay to watch them race . I hope things work out o/k for the rockets ,I hate to see any team go out of the sport we have lost far too many teams in the past for various different reasons .It certainly makes you wonder what the new managements genuine intentions are for the future
  2. The problem was not one of Peterborough's making as far as I am concerned he let Panthers down badly the lads got a lot of talent but unfortunately we do not supply nursemaids every time he wants to spit his dummy out,,
  3. And your quite welcome stay in it while it lasts , so make the most of it but there's no need to gloat on it is there
  4. I would like to wish Kings Lynn all the best for the coming season and would remind you that the majority of your team have risen from your so called( lower) league and you still are relying on (lower)) league riders now so don't knock it pal. At the moment there is very little difference in quality between the elite and premier league's ,maybe the odd star man here and there, apart from that premier league doesn't have the same amount of repetition you get in the elite league with only 8 teams .Forget about Morrisissy fan he's just a first class prat who's lost the plot and likes to wind people up. Enjoy your speedway.
  5. That's right there's nothing else worth talking about on the Barker subject time to put it to bed. Lets look forward to the season ahead.
  6. I think that I've made my point and quite (Frankly)have nothing more to add to this subject.
  7. How many years ago was that then, and your not losing any sleep over it lol
  8. Seeing as you know so much about Panthers and Ben Barkers financial affairs perhaps you would like to share them with us or are you the childish one who has no interest in the subject but still has to poke his nose in
  9. Well Barker doesn't need Panthers and under the circumstances i'm sure Panthers don't need him. Shame because he came into the side late last season and certainly helped to revitalise side and add a bit of life into the team and it helped to have somebody in place ready to get rid of Robert Lambert. So he served his purpose at the end of the day if for the that reason only it was worth it
  10. I think he's stuck two fingers up to Panthers the same as he done to Berwick last year , seems to be building up his notorious reputation, I know I'd rather believe what Jed has told us than anything that Barker has to say. (RED Indian quotation); White man speaks with fork tongue; I think that just about sums him up , just famous for burning his bridges when ever he passes over them.
  11. That's a strange comment, we were led to believe he had secured a lucrative deal with Giasgow , a deal well above what Panthers could afford to offer. Now it seems he is on Kings Lynn's radar , if that's the case and he doubles up Lynn would get priority as I think Coventry own his contract. I wonder what Glasgow fans think about that.
  12. Lets just hope the riders heads are not as big as yours otherwise they wont get past the pit gate
  13. Both leagues need restructuring regarding points limit , I did suggest this a while back and got loads of flack over it . BSPA need to look into it well before the end of 2016 season , so by the end of the season it leaves promoters in a position to plan well in advance and it would also be beneficial for sponsorships as well for 2017 season.
  14. Can't imagine having a break in either of those two places, think you would be glad to get home and have a break after that.
  15. How does that effect Kings Lynn being understrength, Simons average (PL) is 5.19 Wilkinson's 5.33 .
  16. Was you born stupid or did it take a lot of training
  17. Why ? are you recommending your Ed-in- burrow rabbit Mitchell Davey
  18. So common sense prevailed which ever way you look at it . I'm happy with that and there is no point into trying to see something you are guessing at,,thats called making mischief and we don't want any part in that . Simon has made his decision and that's final
  19. I'm sure almost all Panthers fans will be more than happy to have Simon in the team full time. As for an excuse to strengthen up, we already had Simon signed up so why would we want to alter it now just to get close to the points limit. If things do not work out as the season progresses then is the time to think of changes not now. Ged has put his faith in Simon and he in turn has done the same likewise by declining the Kings Lynn offer and like most of Panthers fans i'm more than happy to go along with that
  20. It's about time the new chairman of the bspa showed us some respect and a bit of fairness regarding S.Lambert after he signed a contract for Panthers. i'm not interested what the rule book says , do the gentlemanly thing and give Panthers priority on the fixtures. After all we had already signed in advance.
