  1. Not strictly true , I thought it was the right way to go forward and give the lad a chance , he's looking good at National league level and it's only a matter of time before he before he hits the higher spots in the Premier league the problem is can you keep him at Edinburgh .
  2. I had the impression all NO-7'S were in a protected position for the whole of the 2016 season regardless of there average achieved as well as being protected in heats 2 and 4 . Am I wrong or is this a rule change that that nobody seems to know anything about. I do know that what ever his average is above 3 it's used in calculating team building averages but I thought that was as far as it went . Does anybody have any ideas on this.
  3. Yes I would say over dramatic , too soon to assume his condition , he might be in pain at the moment but speedway riders are a tough breed and if nothing is broken you never know he could declare himself fit for sunday.
  4. You mean like you stuck by Nicki Barrett last season . If things are not going right any team are likely to make changes.
  5. he'd probably turn your lot down again anyway
  6. You could borrow my mother-in-law but unfortunately she doesn't reside in suffolk
  7. Not all good riders have decent haircuts , have you looked at Kenneth Hansen lately?
  8. Yes it is easy to gloss over but I can assure you I am not glossing over anything and i'm certainly not going to tell you the source of the information if that's what you are fishing for. All I can say Ged needs to be a little bit more careful when handing out snippets. We are pleased he's made your day and we are equally pleased he's signed for Panthers so everyone's happy end of.
  9. I heard something to the same effect away at Redcar on 21 st april but just put it to the back of my mind and thought if there was any truth in it then there would be a press release whenever.
  10. You sound more concerned about Panthers than what Panthers fans are , they will be fine and like your Comets we'll take the rough with the smooth
  11. But he doesn't give up easily and some of his moves from the back make for good speedway
  12. I bet you would Shads MPT's biggest problem is gating , if he could sort it out he'd put another point or two on his average .
  13. MPT started the season on 5. 96 and it has gone down to 5.71 . He's not underperforming by much is he . In his last 2 meetings he 's scored 8+1 from 6 rides at away Plymouth and score 8+1 home Sheffield . That's why maybe Berwick fans are interested.
  14. Jenga you are a proper bloody wind up merchant , on may 5th you were suggesting that Berwick TM had made a big mistake signing Bager when there was a much better option in MPT , Now your asking the above question ,( just where are you coming from or are you just stirring up the Bandits supporters.?) PS there's a genuine question for you .
  15. I believe he is living somewhere in Yorkshire these days, although I would imagine it will be between Berwick Rye House ,and Scunthorpe who sign him and as Scunthorpe own his contract and are about to make changes I would make them favourites. I also know he has been in touch with a club wishing to sign him but will say no more until it has been rubber stamped.
  16. The answer to your genuine question is because he's a big improvement on Henning Bager and you know it if you are being honest
  17. I think it would be a wise move MPT unlucky to lose his team place ,all part of the numbers game to get Cookie in. I can't see him being in the shop window for long That's not nice we know your still bitter about him signing for your lot last season and then changing his mind but that's no reason to put him down . I honestly believe whoever gets him on board will not be regretting it .
  18. Here's something that might interest you ,Jye Etheridge average shown as 5.00 but also shows with a 5% increase for home matches if injury or illness cover takes him down to 4.92
  19. Good luck for the future Michael Palm Toft , i'm sure it wont be long before you get sorted with another team.
  20. Some people get paid for acting stupid so just what is your excuse
  21. I don't doubt it anything is possible and it might be a good move for sides who knows ?
  22. You never know how things pan out , maybe after him for next season. He only lives 35 miles away?
