I think Glasgow have made a big mistake releasing Barker for his below par performances unless there are other underlying reasons. This decision might just come back to bite them where it hurts most . Especially as he will be riding against them for Ipswich on Thursday night ,I can imagine Ben will be well up for this meeting so expect some fireworks.

After Sunday's cracking meeting I think the jury is out at the moment.

I didn't think he was anything special considering the past experience he's had at the showground 3 third places should tell you that , he beat Grondal who was having a mare of an afternoon and he beat Stokes twice who was making his debut as a rookie NO;7 He done the job he was brought in for by scoring his 3 points and was mostly on the pace but that was about it.

Meeting should be rerun so it's fair for all riders

We know Emil Grondal can do much better just a matter locating the problem and getting it sorted out, is it in his head or poor machinery or maybe he needs a new mechanic. Whatever the problem is I think it's worth giving him the time to correct it ,although I have to admit he looks the shadow of the rider he was in 2015 Thing is we know he can do it he's still very young experience wise, and definitely worth persevering with.Given more time i'm sure he will turn it around.

It's easy for anybody to draw there own conclusions but they are not rules that's why I am asking for clarification from a member of the B.S.P.A.

I wouldn't argue the rights and wrongs on this , my argument is how did it come to this conclusion as no one person seems to know the answer. Have the B.S.P.A. changed the ruling or is this a hidden rule or is there any legality in it at all. Mr Chapman and Mr Godfrey and the rest of your management team I am politely asking for one of you to just clarify the situation . I hope this does not fall on deaf ears as i'm quite sure a lot of speedway supporters all over the country will be interested in the conclusion on this subject.

So if we hadn't made changes and kept Porsing and MPT with the new averages in place we would have had to drop Perry or one of the top 5 to be dropped to put Perry into the top 5 to allow bringing in a 3 pointer at NO;7. this is farcical , you couldn't make it up.
