  1. Greg Palmer put the club up for sale last September, so you’d have to assume that he has sold it to the new consortium, although in theory the club ownership should be should be transferred to the trust of 100 pledgers that are putting their money in? With regards to a promoters license, I’m sure this would have already been discussed with the BSPL who they have been in regular dialogue with
  2. It wasn’t meant in bad taste at all so apologies if it came across that way. I think it’s totally fair that if they’ve asked Ben Trigger to work on his fitness and professionalism to ask the same about Ben Barker, and I mean it in the nicest way that last year was a poor year for Barker who has ridden at the very top of this sport and if Plymouth are to have a good season then they will really need Ben B to step up and become the 2nd heat leader and increase his average. I agree that Ben B is a great rider to watch and always gives it 110 percent, I’m also pleased to see Ben T get a championship place and hope the gladiators have a great season.
  3. Does the same apply to Ben Barker then?
  4. There’s been no announcement of the last rider for Plymouth yet. Most speculation linked Ben Trigger, being the obvious choice as a local lad with an average that fits but the last time Ben was asked he’d said he didn’t have a championship place or any offers. You might also be correct in thinking that if it was to be Ben then it would have been announced by now as surely would have been straight forward to do a deal, maybe Plymouth have an ace up their sleeve?
  5. Could always run a double header 😊
  6. If the door has been left open for Mildenhall then you’d like to think that the other clubs have already been made aware and are preparing for this
  7. None of those 3 fit on their last averages
  8. I would say it’s the opposite, there’s only 1 space left in the league and plenty of riders who’d like to ride surely? So if they ask for too much then there is no other team space available and they could be left without a team to start the season?
  9. Yes and thereby writing off the money he was ‘owed’ back by the club and paid for the administrators until buyers were found. I’m not a fan of his or what he did at Torquay and previous clubs but I think it’s important to be factual and acknowledge that he did put millions into that club (albeit had a motive of selling the land which didn’t pay off)
  10. …..He sold Torquay a few months back now and wrote off all of the loans/millions of losses he made.
  11. And I would say Jack Smith or Connor Coles are better options than both
  12. Any news on the last signing? I’m guessing Jack Smith, Connor Coles or Ben Trigger are the obvious candidates with the points remaining or are there other riders out there who didn’t ride last year that would fit in nicely on that average.
  13. Just out of interest, do you know if he was one of the 2 riders that were signing for Plymouth before the U turn when Klindt became available?
  14. Good signing, very pleased for Plymouth . What does that leave and who would the likely contenders be for number 7?
