So we’ll shut Plymouth down then and not have a television deal putting other clubs in financial jeopardy. Classic case of “As long as my team is alright” Eventually you’ll have nobody to ride against

Yh I hear what you are saying but the problem last year was that we didn’t know if the premiership was running at all with the problems at Ipswich or Sheffield. The question this year is a different one, how many teams are running in each league so there’s no reason the existing teams can’t start building teams to the already agreed points limit with the AGM to follow later to ratify the league line ups and rules for the season?

I’m not sure why people are so impatient? The league starts next April so does it really matter if the AGM is in November, December, January, February? If the wait means the return/reopening of a couple of tracks and a television deal then it’s worth the wait? If that also allows Plymouth some more time to get their air fence fund complete so they can run then that’s another good thing. Surely we all want as many tracks as possible running next season?

Still lots going on behind closed doors, lots of obstacles but nobody is giving up on 2027 yet.

Just what I said on Wednesday, there is a consortium willing to run in the premiership next season, lots of positive conversations held. A different consortium from the one you were involved with that want to run national league. I got shot down in flames last year for saying Northampton was going to happen so I’ll not say too much out of respect to those involved but watch this space

Firstly best of luck to Plymouth, really hope they can come to the tapes in 2027 as we can ill afford to lose any more teams, particularly in the South. However I do have a genuine question, why have they waited so long to start and appeal as they appear to be up against it now with only 3-4 weeks to raise the money by the deadline. Have they only just found out they needed to replace the fence? Only asking as if they’d had the whole season to request donations then I’d have been happy to chip in monthly for example.

Terrible from the referee when he had all of the TV replays available. Clearly both wheels over the line and that’s now a hollow victory. A real shame as it’s spoilt what was a fantastic meeting.
