  1. Anyone any idea where the Speedway For All YouTube site has gone? All the videos have disappeared, which I find quite depressing as not only do I post them on other forums, but I also save them for later viewing myself :-( Have they moved onto another YouTube site?
  2. Looking back at his Twitter account posts, it appears he may have practiced on Thursday and is there for the weekend. Hope he gets his chance.
  3. Max impressed for sure. He has all the qualities needed to make a success of things . Very disappointing that the track surface was so poorly prepared, and it appears it was deliberately so too. Ricky Wells confirmed in an interview last night, repeated in the local paper report today, that it was how they had asked for it. Problem was, of all 14 riders, only Erik Riss looked truly comfortable on it and even he is quoted on the website as saying that conditions were tough! When you have your biggest crowd, for your best derby match, along with lovely weather, the last thing you should do is prepare a track that proves so difficult to race on. Massive own goal by the promotion.
  4. Interesting to see if that line up actually changes. Craig tweeted a couple of days ago that he was looking forward to racing for Rybnik this weekend. Don't know if that was him actually confirming he'd been picked, or just being hopeful....
  5. Totally agree, Leszno almost always seems to produce top racing, and heat 15 was a belter to finish with.
  6. I'm pretty certain he will be. These line ups often don't show the number 8 for some reason. Last night's scorecard from Torun doesn't show Fricke, even though he scored 11 or 12! Edit: it shows him on my phone screen but not on my iMac screen. Strange!
  7. OK, from what I have gathered so far from Polish friends, here is what they understand about the new rule: 1. The number 8/16 must be under 23 years old. 2. They can be Polish or a foreigner, as opposed to the numbers 6s and 7s who must be Polish. 3. They can ride in heats 1, and 3-15, replacing anyone once only, unless a) that rider is also under 23, as in the case of Drozdz or Lebedevs last night or b ) if they replace an injured rider during the match they can be used to cover all their rides, as in when Doyle pulled out after heat 1 last Sunday at Gorzow. There may be other bits to this that haven't yet been explained to me, but that clears it up a bit so far. Fricke is there only because he's u23 (same with Jack Holder I suppose last night at Torun), but it certainly strengthens Wroclaw to keep him in that position.
  8. Is someone here able to give a clear explanation as to how the new rules with the number 8s works this year? Like Eric I above, there are a few of us who'd like to be clear about this one. Cheers.
  9. Can't take anything away from Nicki tonight as he was by far the best rider on view. Not seen him look so hungry for a number of years now. Looks like Kowalski has got his motors set up very sweetly. Long may it last as whatever you think of him, (and I'm not exactly an admirer) he's box office.
  10. Hope it stays this way as I see there are some thunderstorms forecast for the area around Czestochowa...
  11. And in fact this turned out to be a great match too. Great to see Nicki make such a good return to the sport, even though he's not one of my favourites. Zengota impressed me for ZG.
  12. Pretty sure the siren of the ambulance as it left the stadium was perfectly audible moments after it drove through the pits.
  13. MiedziƄski is a lucky lad to walk away from what was a terrible heat 9 smash.
  14. Yes, loved it yesterday. Recorded the Leszno meeting and have it set to record both Extraliga meetings this afternoon/evening.
  15. Fabulous first match. If they're all half as good as that, I will be well happy watching them all year!
