  1. Information about Ivan Khuzhin, injured yesterday, directly from Anton Terebenin who supplied the live links on both days: "Vanya Khuzhin was seriously injured in the race yesterday. He's in intensive care now.... He had an operation. The operation ended successfully. Vanya lost a lot of blood. He remains in the ICU for the time being. Unconscious. Now everything depends on him... We believe in you, Vanya! You're strong, get well soon, our friend!"
  2. Date has been changed to Friday 25th March at 1700 Polish time, and the first four riders announced are: Patryk Dudek, Bartosz Zmarzlik, Dominik Kubera and Szymon Woźniak.
  3. Anton has posted to say he's not able to stream this weekend, so it'll be an Ufa based stream only. Anton has to do repairs to his car ahead of meetings coming up over the next few weeks.
  4. Hi Jarekosc, I live in Scotland but I'm a big Leszno fan - see my car plate in the picture - and I'll be driving over to Leszno at Easter for their first meeting v Gorzów.
  5. I also believe that despite a lot of negative commenting from within Poland, TVP will up their game for this, especially if it's being sold on to other nations.
  6. Neither can I. I don't remember anything being announced about it.
  7. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgm8RadNuhs Video of the 1st meeting in Sweden on Thursday.
  8. Great set of pictures here from the meeting: https://www.facebook.com/100001968279118/posts/5180046835404208/?sfnsn=scwspmo
  9. 1st round results from Sweden today: https://www.speedwaynews.pl/aktualnosci/item/76734-niezwykle-zacieta-inauguracja-w-szwecji-mistrzowie-pokonani-na-wlasnym-obiekcie?fbclid=IwAR1YueupnQUiElQniI6EAHoAwOvM2Y71DetWFFIQ5qEWhuySnexUzD1EUTk
  10. Correct Bavarian, which is also where the training video I posted above is from. Nice looking circuit.
  11. Also found the image below, showing Swedish fixtures - but apparently these were to be confirmed.
  12. https://youtu.be/X27opQmD-ig This link from Sweden shows a training camp held on 12th December which is also worth watching.
  13. If you are on Facebook, here's some practicing from Finland on 02.01 via this link: https://fb.watch/aknAG7g67S/
  14. Sweden's teams and schedule is at the bottom of this article : (first meeting 06.01) https://www.speedwaynews.pl/aktualnosci/item/76567-szwedzkie-druzyny-zaprezentowaly-pelne-sklady-na-sezon-2022?fbclid=IwAR2K91-HNGMElYn3bzA06t47KE5i-ltUoH4u7uIkcRexuxtQzXJBX_IuCpA I saw something about Finland last week, if I re-find it I'll post it too.
  15. Gdańsk is easy to get out of and drive down to Bydgoszcz/ Grudziądz and Toruń from. Toruń doesn't have an airport.
  16. They won't announce them until about a couple of weeks before. This is unfortunate as I had hoped to do exactly as you are planning. TV decides who gets which time and day. The August 5-7 weekend has Grudziądz and Toruń at home and I had hoped that Bydgoszcz might be too. But that'll only happen if we are lucky, and that Bydgoszcz make the playoffs and get awarded a home fixture...I'm going that weekend and just keeping my fingers crossed!
  17. https://speedwayteams2022.blogspot.com/ I've created the above which has all known squads for all Continental European Speedway nations (note - UK is NOT included) as at present. It also features all known fixtures for 2022. This is not meant to be in any way a rival to the stellar work done by R&R, it's simply another option for people to have.
  18. If you happen to hear anything re the round on 06.08, would you be kind enough to PM me please? Thanks!
  19. Whatever you've been smoking, maybe pass it around. Are you seriously saying this one result backs up your claims?
  20. Marcin Majewski has tweeted tonight to say there will be a special edition of the Ekstraliga Magasyn program on nSport+ tomorrow evening at 2000 Polish time. Sportowekfakty are speculating that the 2022 Ekstraliga schedule will be revealed on the program. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/974334/zuzel-we-wtorek-specjalne-wydanie-magazynu-pge-ekstraligi-kibice-poznaja-termina
  21. I've been working over the past few weeks to translate a series of in depth interviews with current and former riders from Polish to English for a new book published by the Polish website Po-Bandzie. These are now almost complete, and pre-orders are now being taken. The book will have more than 200 pages, and includes interviews with such well known faces as Artiom Laguta, Emil Sayfutdinov, Taylor Lanning, Martin Hagon, Erik Gundersen, Jan O Pedersen, Zenon Plech, Slawomir Drabik, Scott Nicholls, Egon Muller, Krzysztof Cegielski, Jeremy Doncaster, Reg Fearman, and many others. The cost of the book will be £16, with postage from Poland to the UK set at £8, making a total of £24. Po-Bandzie have also agreed to make a donation of 20% of the cost of the book to the Ben Fund, so you will be helping out our injured heroes by buying it. The book will be printed in time for posting around 10th December. This means it should make a fantastic Christmas present to all who order. For your copy, please email redakcja@po-bandzie.com.pl and payment will be arranged via PayPal or bank transfer in due course. Alternatively, PM me and I can put you in direct touch with the authors. Thank you.
