The rule doesn't say whether it is 'likely' that we'd of came back and won, it says 'mathematically possible', and it was still mathematically possible, so under that rule, it should of been reran, I'm not going to lie, on the night Glasgow were the better team and they deserved the win, but rules are rules and you can't go round bending them to suit
-
I don't blame the ordinary fan for not knowing, it's not their job but I don't appreciate it when a fan says what a rider should be doing when they don't know the story, I've said multiple times it is disappointing that he will be missing but rather than moan and complain about it, just accept it and support what team you have in front of you, that's all you can do right now
-
If a rider turned up to a track and blew an engine in his first ride, then what does he ride? And then you get fans saying, 'well he should have a spare bike' you just can't win in these situations, fans seem to know it all, but they don't understand half of what goes on behind the scenes, fans need to realise that, it's not as easy to just turn up to a meeting, ride and in this case, drive 18 hours to Germany then ride there for 2 days then drive 18 hours back, respect the lads for what they do

I've just had a message off Kevin Keay telling me Redcar were told Ellis had to be at the Practice session Loving all these part time fans that think they know everything about speedway and bikes and what riders should be doing, it's alright saying riders should have more than one bike but but who's gonna pay all this money for riders to buy extra bikes to go to different countries on the off chance they may get picked, riders have 2 bikes and those 2 bikes are needed at a league meeting, if a rider is lucky enough to be able to afford 4 bikes then yes he could maybe plan to have 2 bikes sent out while he rides the other 2 but some riders don't have that luxury
-
We can't help replacing him with a NL rider though, his new average hasn't came into affect yet so it's something we have to deal with, wallinger has been scoring well in the NL so why not give him a chance, there is no rider out there that we could use for Ellis that would score us what Ellis scores us so our hands are tied really

If practice isn't as important like you are implying why do most Championship events/GP's have practice sessions which most of the lineup use? Most of Team GB will have never seen the Pöcking track before so a practice session will be good for them to get used to the track and get better dialled in so they have a better chance when it comes to the main meeting, yeah it is disappointing that riders may miss a club meeting but we should be proud of them for representing our country not moaning at them for missing a league meeting
-
Bikes need to be there soo long before to be set up, tyres fitted and then examined, for a standard league meeting we arrive at a track roughly 3 hours before meeting starts, we don't just arrive when the fans arrive
-
Perks misses the meeting as he needs to drive him bikes over to Germany which takes 18 hours, and needs to be there for 12midday on Friday for a practice session, so he wouldnt make it if he rode on Thursday, bewley can ride because bewleys family are driving bikes over for him and then Glasgow are paying for a flight for him after the meeting, lambert should still be able to ride on Thursday at Ipswich as he already has bikes in Germany so just needs a flight,

Video of it is on Facebook, notice how Lawson tried going from gate 4 to gate 1 before he even got to the first bend, but that was okay, Jonas had every right to go to the outside, he made the gate and he was infront, if Lawson had stuck to his line then he would of noticed jonas moving out and could of cut back up the inside, I appreciate all the Glasgow fans that could see Jonas done nothing wrong and actually apologised to us for Richards behaviour
-
The team change needed to be made yesterday because a team needs to be redeclared 3 days before the new averages come out, we couldn't of waited till after Thursday to do it because then we'd of had to use the new averages
-
Jonas made the gate, he was in front, he went for the dirt line on a slick track, the person in front dictates where he rides, it's up to the people behind to find a way past, Jonas did struggle last night, he knows that himself, that's why his win over Lawson is that much better, it was hard riding but it wasnt dirty in any way, and barker is a great rider, he is worth the entrance fee alone

JBA has to ride in a Danish Championship Qualifier meeting at 10am Friday morning and there were no flights back to Denmark for him in time to be ready for the Danish qualifier which he had to ride in

Østergaard put tobias through the fence like he did to lasse bjerre last season, he was absolutely shocking again, lost all respect for him now, there's a difference between being a 'hard' rider and being a 'dirty' rider, and ulrich definitely crosses that line, if roles were reversed and Tobi done that move on Ulrich, I can bet people would have something to say about it, especially if you think barker was controversial, the ref made a few bad decisions on the night that possibly cost us the meeting aswell as some bad luck on the track when riders packed up when in points scoring positions, Thursday will be a good meeting, hopefully we don't miss Tobi and Ellis too much, all the riders are up for it -
And Redcar don't have a challenge match yet, Garrity and Hall against their old team maybe?
-
Redcar had Lasse as Captain, look how well that one turned out, Joshy G will be your best bet as Captain
-
Only your 4 programmed rides count towards your average, that's why there is a lot of kick off as to why Doyley is on a 13.4 average when the max he can get is 12

They took Jonas' side because they knew he done nothing wrong at the 4's, and they didn't give Jonas the captaincy, they gave it to Bellego, Jonas was captain at last meeting of the season at Workington because Bellego wasn't riding. I didn't have a problem with Lasse not wanting to be at Redcar, that's his choice, but he definitely wasn't trying his best, he was refusing to ride in heat 15's for us, and turning up with dirty bikes when we had a weeks gap between meetings, and not participating in team talks during meetings. Redcar probably kept him in the team to annoy him because he wanted away so bad
