From what Ive been told there is a lot of tension between Worrall and Lawson so if you had to pick out if the 2 of those, who would you rather have? Forget about assets because Glasgow could just buy Worrall, as for summers, he looks as though he has been inconsistent this year and the rumours are saying he is going to Berwick since he is helping with the training track there, Joshy G/Stevie Worrall and Richie Worrall as your top 2 maybe?

Sheffield V Redcar Now Monday 23/10/17 @ 7.30 Sgbcl

For one Jonas is Danish not Swedish, and secondly he hasnt gone home, he was told the meeting was on Monday, so he went on holiday during the spare week he had and booked to fly into UK on Saturday, in time for the meetings, but then the date got changed while he was out of the uk, I dont agree with him for going on holiday but in his defence, he hasnt rode in a month and he was told it was Monday, not this Thursday -

How do you know it isnt a fact? and why shouldnt it be put on a public forum? Dont you want people to think anything bad about the Glasgow Tigers? -
I agree it is out of order to plan holidays and stuff during the season but in all fairness our last 2 meetings were originally planned for Sunday and Monday, so he picked a holiday from Saturday - Saturday so hed be back in time to fulfill his remaining fixtures, but while he was on holiday, Sheffield changed the date again, he wasnt planning on missing any meetings, and its unfair you saying overseas riders should get a ban for going on holiday during the season, what about any British lads that go on holiday? is that okay or should they get a ban too?
-
No facility if he goes home, redcar have to us a NL guest for Ellis Perks in our last 2 meeting because he has gone home to Aus, we also have to use a NL guest for Jonas on thursday who is on holiday because the meeting was originally planned for Monday which hed of been back for but they moved it forward this week

Glasglow were putting too much pressure on him every heat because they were going for the league and had a weak bottom end, once he came to us he was allowed to relax and he settled in well, Sheffield werent pressuring him because they had a solid team throughout and didnt rely on him constantly, and Berwick were struggling so maybe they were putting pressure on him to produce extra points, all I know is he is a good lad and a good rider, just need to treat him right, he is very quiet and is very much a confidence rider, he doesnt need people constantly on his back, and to be honest, he would love to be away from Glasgow just as much as Glasgow want him sold after the way they kicked him out on the street, emptied the workshop of his bikes and equipment and dumped them on the street and made him and his girlfriend homeless -

Jonas will be back for Sunday, our fixture at Sheffield was originally planned for Monday but they brought it forward, meaning jonas was unavailable -
Scored a untroubled 12 point max in Poland the night before and joined in the celebrations which you could see on the live streaming of the meeting and he posted on social media afterwards how he felt good on the bike, but the very next night he is too injured to ride? Come on, open your eyes, he even done a post in Polish about how the English division has stopped him riding more in Poland and how he wanted to change that, he only rode yesterday because he didnt have any meetings elsewhere, so it was extra cash, This sicknote thing is beyond a joke, how many riders are sick for certain meetings at certain tracks, Edinburgh being the most common for it, riders can just say they are ill and get a facility, Lambert should be banned, like cook is now, its only fair, he cant just pick and choose when he wants to ride, but he wont because George will end up pulling a few strings since he is on the board
-
Maybe they got Ged to take as much as he could from them so they could fine him and take the money for themselves?
-
Do you agree he is screwing yous over now? If yous didnt have so much rain offs he would of missed a few more meetings, now tonights meeting aswell, what excuse do you reckon theyll have for him this week? Is it his 2 week sicknote coming back into effect? His flight been delayed? His van broke down? Or just the fact he couldnt be ar**d turning up?
-
I emphasised allegedly because I know if I didnt, youd of went (prove it), cant win with some people, Im just putting forward what Ive been told, you can make do with that information as you please, just funny how Robert lambert doesnt give a flying f**k about your club yet IF he rides tonight, I bet hell get a good reception, IMO you should all be booing him going by what is getting posted on here, slag the rider off left right and centre on here yet wont say anything to him while he is there, why dont you all go and ask Robert tonight why he has chose to screw Newcastle over?
-
(SOME) being the right word, Robert Lambert doesnt want to be at Newcastle next season and neither does Stevie Worrall, and because lambert is getting bigger money elsewhere he is choosing them over Newcastle (Which is wrong but you can see his reasoning behind it, we all would go where the money is if we had the chance) but allegedly because of all this Newcastle havent been paying him what they should due to things behind the scenes between Sapphire Engineering and George English, thats allegedly though, no concrete evidence

What Would You Change In Speedway Next Season?
BenR195 replied to 4thbender's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
MotoGP riders wear helmets too, as do BSB riders, still people know who is who, if you are part of a team you should have to wear the teams colours, it just sounds like people moaning for the sake of moaning about stupid things once again when there are bigger things in the sport that need changing team suits look more professional whether you like them or not, me personally never struggle to pick out who is who, why dont we talk about the doyles running the sport and the stupid rules that are actually ruining the sport and stop talking about pointless stuff like teamsuits/mechanics on track and gardening -

I agree, a team should look the same and not look like individuals, every other sport have matching gear for teams even MotoGP teams have the same suits and even same bikes, it looks more professional and you should be able to tell the rider from his bike and/or his helmet colour -

Patched up side for Redcar with Garrity, Wright, Barker and Ayres out injured -
Denmark is Wednesday and Friday aswell

Then you get riders missing meetings coz they have to work to support their families, so whats the difference between that and him riding for another team, either way he still isnt available for you, speedway is a job these days as riders can be riding the majority of the week if they do it right, if they manage to get 4/5/6 meetings a week where do they find time to get a real job?
-
True though, whats gonna make him a better rider, riding for Peterborough or riding with his big brother and all the GP lads? Not to mention hed just about earn more scoring 1 point in Torun than he would doing a full meeting for Peterborough, cant fault him for riding in Poland when his UK promoter told him to go, as Ive said, I dont agree with the extent of the punishment but what Im saying is Ged and Matt Ford agreed to let him go, so you cant blame jack for going, if he never got permission to go then Id agree that jack was at fault
-
Why not? If you had a job and werent earning enough money youd get a 2nd job for extra income, why shouldnt riders be able to do the same? its their job at the end of the day, people will say get a proper job outside of speedway but not many would employ someone that would have to take days off work to attend meetings then take time off to wash bikes and prep ready for the next day, then if he gets injured the employer would have to find cover for him, not many people would take these lads on so they have to find a 2nd team, and the more they ride, the sharper they are, if they only ride in 1 team they will have 1/2 meetings per week and sometimes go a couple of weeks with no meetings at all depending on weather and thats not gonna pay their living is it, I can see the fans frustration when riders arent available because they have meetings elsewhere but you have to look at it from the riders point of view aswell, if the top league go to set days then that will solve that problem as there wont be any dates clashing with the middle league
-
That team actually looks very weak in my eyes, 4 reserves and 1 second string and 2 heat leaders that are inconsistent and one of them is coming back from that nasty arm injury
-
The real issue is Ged not Jack, Ged allegedly took a backhander off Torun and let him miss big meetings for you, if Ged didnt let him, jack would of had to ride for Peterborough or been banned, jack done what he was told to do, I agree the punishment is excessive and the people in charge are just pushing their weight about but jack is not to blame for it
