  1. I disagree. At most it could have been a 4 point swing and that's assuming Kus (who couldn't ride the track) gaining max points rather than the 5 achieved via RR.
  2. Nope, I was referring to all the posts saying the meeting was over etc as soon as he got injured.
  3. So much being made of Kus' injury. He was excluded in his first heat. Morris got full points in the second and a second place in the 4th. Total was 5 from a possible 9. Given he fell twice in 2 laps I don't think that's too bad.
  4. Thanks. Is it a decent view of the track? Is it anything like Armadale with the greyhound track in the way?
  5. Considering making the trip to Newcastle tomorrow. What's it like for viewing?
  6. I reckon if we have Sissis as guest then we will beat Newcastle. I know it's not about the best guests etc but that's what it has come down to and Garcia has been carrying a few knocks. Hopefully a fully fit rider will help.
  7. Sorry but I disagree. We've been beaten by two teams that have had reserves scoring a phenomenal number of points. How many matches this season, in all leagues) has a reserve scored 14 points (Sissis) and 16 points (bates for Somerset). These things simply do not happen often and unfortunately we have been on the other end of it. Everyone has a bad night but things are being blown way out of proportion by a lot of people.
  8. the best bit was when he realised and then went for his eyes whilst Rene still had his goggles on. The photos I've seen are pretty conclusive and I fully expect him to be suspended. The nurse and first aider were also injured apparently.
  9. He lost his temper in the sky match at Glasgow last year as well. The pictures are now slowly appearing on Facebook etc and clearly show Bates getting off his bike and hitting Bach multiple times.
  10. And so it should be. One thing in Glasgow's power is to ban his mechanic. I would expect that this should happen given the way he acted.
  11. Agreed. Also I thought far worse of his mechanic to launch an attack on Rene from behind. Pretty certain the referee will have see Bates attack on Summers as well.
  12. What an absolute disgrace Josh Bates and his mechanic are. I wonder if the SCB will ban him for the rest of the season.
  13. He'll be fit and back for the big matches, the ones with silverware available!
  14. R/r for Lunna still applying. Do we know who is guesting at reserve for Somerset?
  15. A lot will depend on where Somerset put Josh G in their team. Tungate is going to 1 for them.
  16. So, Richie moves to number 1 next Saturday. Do you think that makes us stronger with Richard and Aaron going at 3/5? Who do you put where?
  17. Sarjeant for BWD and Greaves at 7. Another good choice of guest for Somerset.
  18. Very unusual to lose so many riders but they should have had a number 8 while operating r/r.
  19. Somerset will have a guest on Sunday for BWD, I suspect it could be James Sarjeant!
  20. I'll be honest I was shocked to hear the tractor punctured the air fence and then I couldn't believe they were still going round after it was repaired. Surely there was sufficient time when it was being repaired to grade the track?! I also seen the security guy at the gate (who was the same guy that shouted up to Stewart last week to ask how many more laps the tractor should do - 5 was the answer that time) instruct both tractor drivers to do one more lap.
  21. I've not read the article yet but the guy in the tractor always follows instructions from Stewart.
  22. Yep agreed. Not sure on the Summers/Tungate issue but think it may have been from an earlier heat as Summers didn't look impressed after ht 13
  23. I agree. They'll want him to get experience and they could use him in the EL while a PL team use him on loan.
