So the news the fans had been dreading, no Josh next year. Always admire riders who are ambitious and want to challenge themselves. Josh has been a great rider for us so I am sure every blue and gold fan wishes him well. He was very emotional last night and it would have been nice if he had been publicly thanked for his seven year contribution to Edinburgh. Big boots to fill next year. Thank you Joshie P.

I do have sympathy for the promotion. Six riders at some stage in the season injured or ill plus retirement of Buckley. The change at reserve did us no favours at all and people were led to believe it was for a “few weeks”. Glad we were able to run this year but if we come to tapes next season there has to be some fresh faces brought in.

Feel for Redcar. Losing Wright at this time in the season arguably cost them any chance of mounting a credible challenge for the play off final. IMO the best racing track in the Championship. A great club and set of fans. All the best for next season.

The overall win for Ipswich was due to the performance of the Aces at Ipswich. As mentioned in this thread some tracks have to be shoe horned into other sports arenas. We can’t all have a fantastic facility like the NSS. I hope Ipswich go on and win the league. Sheffield got rid of riders who did a good job for them just before the play offs and guests saw them win at Monmore last night. Ipswich were relatively unchanged throughout the season. Can’t see Wolves turning this one round but would be great if they managed it.

Would love to see Sam back and Erik Riss if in full health along with Josh if he can be persuaded to return after this debacle of a season. None of the current team kicked on this season due to illness and injury but possibly Kye back.

Thank goodness for Josh. Justin way off the pace. Lasse had a go but clearly still lacking fitness.. Bastion ok for first time there. Our middle order struggled yesterday and didn’t seem to attack the track. Dayle clearly shouldn’t be in this league. Well documented the reasons for our promotion going for NDL rider but wrong choice of rider. if we come to tapes next season think we need some fresh faces.
