Edinburgh tracked 2 3 point riders at reserve last year. IF they wanted to they couldn't use both in 2016 unless they tracked 3 riders at tail end totalling barely over 10 points.

Yes Deek was a good captain. He was a hard act to follow but IMO Cookie also did a great job. Two different styles but both were successful.

Not many riders in history have had Ward's natural ability on a bike and after a stuttered career the young man seemed to have turned a corner before his tragic accident. BUT if silly money is offered for Craig Cook who has been pretty injury free in his career and a consistent performer who are Edinburgh to turn it down? Sport is littered with examples of over the top fees being paid for clubs wanting to get their man. Don't know if it would be more fruitful to take an annual loan fee. As I posted before if Cookie comes back to PL in few years down the line would like to see him back at the Monarchs.

see Victor Palovaara is looking for a UK team next year on Twitter. Lot of potential. Thought he would have made bigger strides in 2015.

Take on board what you say Mr B but we are losing an iconic rider, perhaps the best ever to don a blue and gold race jacket. Cookie put bums on seats and you had confidence that he could produce the goods away from home. Our financial situation is well documented so don't think we are in a position to splash the cash for 2016. Saying that we are in capable hands with John and Alex. Proven track record in assembling ver y competitive teams.

Thought RW was heading west. Big fan of the Fish but perhaps his best days are behind him. Edinburgh normally bring in new blood. Would be nice to have at least one name confirmed for 2016.

We need to try and keep Masters. Big miss if you lose your 2 top riders at once.

No worries with last year's 5 at home for 2016 but we would need some consistency away. I would like Ritchie in team too but think he is destined elsewhere. Riss Junior?

Time will tell what Craig does in 2016 but he should be given some credit for wanting to give it a go.
