We weren’t left with much to choose from when this rising star thing was brought in. Promotion pinned their hopes on Willie increasing his average. Would never be back to rider he was but would do much better with decent equipment.

Apart from Berwick can’t think of a match away from home where 2 from number 2, 6 and 7 scored well.

Agree. Good that Nathan scored a few points. Slow start cost us big time. Well done to the boys who turned it around. Hopefully pick up some points next week on the road. Really need all the team to chip in on the scoring front.

We have 3 strong heat leaders and Kye has been superb riding tracks for first time. Our other 3 riders are essentially reserves and William’s equipment has been sub standard. For us to get anything tonight we need our heat leaders and Kye firing and one of the other 3 to come to the party.

The usual story - when one of our top 3 is below par we need rest of team to step up. After a 5 1 in heat 1 Willie reverted to form. Pleased Nathan in the points.

Hope the 2 Berwick boys are okay. a lot of grit and resilience shown by Bandits tonight. Could have been a great Cup tie if events ht 1 hadn’t happened. Flint a big miss too.

Think promotion built this team looking for every rider to improve average. Ricky’s last season was indifferent at Monarchs, hampered by a niggling shoulder problem. Glasgow were expecting him to be rider he was in 2018. Justin to a lesser extent. Monarchs have 3 reserve standard riders in team and Nathan is stuck at number 2. If William sorted out his equipment that would help.

No doubt we wouldn’t have won if Ulrich had been there but surprised Brown didn’t go with R/R. if our top 3 are on it along with Kye we can put up a fight but we have a tail the length a Tigger would be proud of. Changes afoot for Glasgow and here’s hoping in blue and gold too.
