BBC weather spot on all week for Armadale.

Glasgow have GB Poland match at Ashfield on Tuesday. Forecast poor for that. Thought we would have been at Poole on Weds for cup now.

Forecast for Armadale for over a week had said rain early evening. 3.00pm start time could have seen the meeting run.

Agree to a certain extent Jaiser. Mauger always said if you turned left it was a speedway track. Many tracks limited to what they can do because of dog tracks. Scott Nicholls a joy to watch at the Dale. Cookie in his pomp too.

Wonder if we would be discussing tracks if Glasgow had gone through. They have won a lot of matches at the Dale since Cookie started riding for Tigers.

I think we would need to take a minimum of 16 points to Ashfield.

Maybe start a different thread re track sizes and modern engines.

That’s a gamble your promotion took. Signing a Pole who would be A1 at Ashfield but Poole, Redcar and Edinburgh were all still in play offs. Justin always been a bit of an SOS rider. Thought he would have flourished riding with Cookie but it didn’t work out.

Think if match rained off today Glasgow will regroup and start favourites. Don’t see Wells and Nicol riding as poorly again and young Tom was very impressive. We were awful at Ashfield, would like to think we could do better but weather played a part in preparation of both tracks. I would rather go to Ashfield having to defend a lead (hopefully) than have to make up points at the Dale. Don’t see Glasgow making same mistakes twice if second leg at the Dale. Thought our 3 young riders did well last night. As I said in previous post good and bad fans in all clubs.

Technical not trick. Glasgow have won there the last few years . We had to build the track to suit size of stadium . If rained off tonight Tigers will regroup and surely be favourites to proceed. Can’t see Wells doing so poorly again.

Wouldn’t write the Tigers off. If anyone can galvanise them it is Cookie. Both teams need to regroup. Can’t imagine Wells riding as poorly again. Brennan will be a miss. Very impressive tonight.
